Despite no longer in office, the immediate past member representing Dekina /Bassa in the House of Representatives, Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa continue to touch lives of his constituents with the donation of 600 desks to both primary and secondary schools across the constituency.
This development was unlike of the previous occupants were constituency projects ends at the end of their tenure of office every four years.
Baiwa who made the donation on Tuesday across the federal constituency promised to sustain the momentum even out of office.
He expressed regrets at the level of decadence both in infrastructures and learning materials as well as instructional materials in Kogi state
The former lawmaker maintained that the ugly scenario in our educational institution in Kogi state has spured him to embark on renovation of school buildings, and donation of education materials including desks.
He asked the school administrators, school pupils and other users not to vandalise the items donated , stating that it will out leave the current users when put to good use.
The former lawmaker who recently donated farm inputs, insecticides, pumping machines, watching machines, chemicals, fertilizers and empowerment items/cash to artisans in his constituency to make them self sufficient amidst high rate of poverty.
He also empowered women and youths of Gboloko and Eforo in Bassa local government area of grinding machines to give meaningful leaving to the youths of the area.
He promised to continue to touch lives out of office, as engagement and empowerment of constituents will reduce to the barest minimum the current hardship prevalent in the country.
