MD FHA, Ojo Presents 72 Million RSA Cheques To Beneficiaries

The Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority FHA, Honorable Oyetunde Ojo said the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu will fulfill it's promises in the area of provision of affordable and assessible houses to ordinary Nigerians.

Ojo who made this statement during the presentation of seventy two million, six hundred and twenty thousand (72, 620, 714.72) cheques to seven beneficiaries of 25% Retirement Saving Account RSA fund from Pension Commission (PENCOM) on Thursday,  facilitated by Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank FHAMB, Abuja.

The Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Federal Housing Authority FHA maintained that the agency will continue to be at the forefront of adhering to the strict and transparent format of assessing the facility through the legitimisation of the award and ratings received both from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and National Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

While congratulating the Bank,  he advised the management to do more in terms of increasing the beneficiaries  across the country.

"We are not unaware of your plans to enroll about 100 beneficiaries on PENCOM RSA going forward, and hope it will be extended to other states of Ekiti, Akwa-ibom among other parts of the country."

"We are determined to open up the business environment as the Federal Housing Authority FHA will contribute to the success story of this government initiative by delivering quality, decent and affordable homes to Nigerians of all income bracket."

" I want us to strive to expand the scope of beneficiaries to attain hundreds of people to reflect all Nigerians from the 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory FCT." Ojo stated.

"You need to also strive for more of National Housing Fund NHF beneficiaries to ensure that many Nigerians own houses of their own."

The seven initial beneficiaries are Banjoko Olubunmi 20.6M , Stella Odeh Owoicho 10.022M, Hassan Hassan Suleiman 9.4M, Kehinde Husseini Sadiq 3.5M, Jessie Haddasa Oguche, 10.3M., Yelenbini Maken 3.2M and Ahmed Tijanni 2.2M
