The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia just like Thomas Jefferson is using his pragmatic effectiveness to reposition Benue State for the common good. He believes that the Will Of The People of Benue State for him to become their Governor, expressed through the March 18th, 2023 gubernatorial election brought him to power to be their messiah which has eluded Benue State for decades.
In line with Jefferson's philosophy of good governance, Alia's most fundamental political belief is an "absolute acquiescence in the decisions of the majority of the good people of Benue State." Stemming from his deep optimism in human reason, he believes that good governance should be practiced to bring hope to those in despairs and take Benue State to unprecedented heights.
Alia doesn't have an abstruse philosophical governance methodology. Only those who are hellbent on discrediting him because of their self-centeredness are swimming in the oceans of hatred which have moved them away from abnegation and unselfishness.
Alia can't be cajoled by anyone to prioritize the interests of individuals above the collective interest of the good people of Benue State. They love him so much because he is working relentlessly to reposition Benue State for their interest.
Over the years, the callous governance of Benue State subjected the good people of the state to so much pains that most of them always ask God the wrong the state committed to deserve such punishment of abysmal and amorphous governance.
They became resolute and never stopped praying until the Almighty God answered their prayers by bringing Alia as the Messiah of Benue State.
For the first time in the history of Benue State, salaries and pensions are paid before or on 25th of every month.
For the first time in the history of Benue State, gratuities are no more delayed but paid with ease upon retirement without passing through 'rigorous' processes orchestrated by corruption.
For the first time in the history of Benue State, many capital projects are being executed simultaneously with high quality work and inspected from time to time by the governor.
For the first time since the establishment of Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), more experienced medical practitioners and others are employed and are making impressive impact.
For the first time in the history of Benue State, a governor gave appointments to many youths so that a new generation of politicians will be bred in the state.
There will be no more substandard projects in Benue State as the governor from time to time inspects such ongoing projects and where he sees anything wrong, he ensures that the quality of work he wants and for which the contracts were awarded is done.
With all these and more in the pipelines, the good people of Benue State love Alia so much and are extremely grateful to God Almighty for finally blessing Benue State with the long awaited Messiah.

Gov. Alia hasn't clocked a year in office, yet he has made momentous impact as if he has been there for many years. With his achievements so far, the good people of Benue State will take his reelection in 2027 as a non-negotiable deal so those spending sleepiness nights including their time and resources to dislodge him in 2027 are on a mission in futility.
