Hon. Mato appealed to all levels of government to take the initiatives and aspirations of women as top priorities to place them on the wheels of transformation and development so that they would explore the frontiers of academic, economic and financial knowledge and be empowered to contribute momentously to repositioning Nigeria for the benefit of all.

The President of the National Council for Women's Societies, NCWS Hajia Lami Lau said that despite the contribution the womenfolk in the society, they continue to face barriers that impede their full participation and hinder progress.
