NECO; Deputy House Leader Canvass For Measures To Reduce Examination Malpractices

The Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has canvassed for efforts that will reduce examination malpractices in the conduct of the National Examination Council, (NECO).

He stated this at a retreat organized by the body on Wednesday in Abuja.

He described examination malpractices as a cancer worm that has eaten deep into the fabrics of ordinary Nigerians.

While calling on the examination body to seek for further collaboration with the National Assembly, the federal lawmaker reminded them of the need to refocus the activities of the body, with a view to delivering on its mandate.

He stated that the National Assembly through its oversight functions will ensured that the basic requirements needed for its activities to meeting the needed programs will be tackled.
