Member representing Kyan Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Emmanuel Terna Shimawua has appreciated his constituents for the support and votes they gave him in 2023 House of Assembly election.
In appreciation of the love and support given to him by them, he distributed grinding machines, hand sprayers and agro-chemicals to some women and men of his Kyan Constituency for self-reliance.
Prior to the distribution, he had renovated and reconstructed Tsambe Traditional Council Hall at Gbem to a modern standard, constructed Skills Acquisition Centre for the training of teaming youths and women in Kyan; reconstruction of 15 number boreholes across Kyan constituency; assisted in clearing outstanding salaries for Tsambe Community Secondary School, Adeiyongo; JAMB registration for 50 candidates across Kyan constituency; submitted names of over 200 persons who received N 30,000 each at BENUE CARES Programme across Kyan constituency, he facilitated the appointments of 3 constituents into the Public Service; awarded scholarship to 10 students across Kyan Constituency.
He promised to do more for the good and transparent people of Kyan constituency as more funds will be obtained for project execution and empowerment.
In her speech, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Dorathy Mato commended the good people of Kyan Constituency for voting for Hon. Shimawua. She appealed to them to be united so that they will be support pillars for Shimawua to make tremendous difference.
Sir. James Iorpuu, Executive Secretary, Benue State Emergency Management Agency (BSEMA) praised Hon. Shimawua for working with the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for the good people of Kyan Constituency and Benue State by extension. He encouraged him to remain on the path of development for Benue State to be transformed.
