Hon Dr Matthew Damkor, the esteemed House of Assembly member representing Tiev State Constituency and committee chairman on finance held a constituency briefing in Vandiekya, Benue State on Saturday, 13th July, 2024. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of the Tiev Traditional Council and Tiev constituents.
During the briefing, Hon Dr Matthew Damkor generously donated motorcycles, salts, cotton of Maggi, spraying cans, agrochemicals, and clothes to his people. This act of kindness and support was met with great joy and appreciation from the constituents.
Additionally, the briefing served as an opportunity for Hon Dr Matthew Damkor to highlight his remarkable achievements in the constituency. These achievements include providing scholarships to Tiev students, distributing writing materials to public schools, empowering youths, construction of motorized boreholes, repairing existing boreholes in Tiev, facilitating the registration of JAMB for Tiev students, facilitated the employment of Tiev people at the Benue State Teaching Hospital.
During the event, the Tiev traditional rulers expressed their utmost confidence in Hon Dr Matthew Damkor, Mue Ter Tiev chief Moses Adema on behalf the the Tiev Traditional council assured him of their support for a second term ticket. This vote of confidence is a testament to the exemplary leadership Hon Dr Matthew Damkor has displayed.
Hon Dr Matthew Damkor took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Governor Dr Hyacinth Iormen Alia for his unwavering support and commitment to the development of the people of Benue State. He pledged his 100% loyalty and support to the Governor, acknowledging the positive impact he has made.
