.... As Mrs. Dajoh, Hon. Dyako Commission Projects
Member representing Kyan Constituency of Benue State at the Benue State House of Assembly (BSHOA), Hon. Emmanuel Terna Shimawua established skill acquisition centre, reconstructed and renovated Tsambe Traditional Council Hall at Gbem, Tsambe in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State He was accompanied to the occasion by Hon. Dr. Mathew Damkor, member representing Tiev Constituency in Benue State House of Assembly.
The reception for the commissioning of the projects took place at LGEA Primary School, Gbem which was attended by stakeholders, elders, people from various political parties, traditional rulers and other guests within and outside Kyan Constituency.
The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, Speaker Benue State House of Assembly who was represented by the Majority Leader, BSHOA, Hon. Saater Tiseer commended Shimawua for the tremendous projects he has executed so far in the face of some legislative challenges.
He encouraged him not to give up in his quest to represent his constituency effectively as good representation is the recipe for far-reaching transformation for individual and collective development.
Shimawua in his welcome address appreciated the Speaker, Dajoh and his representative, Tiseer including all guests at the event assuring the good people of Kyan that the projects he has executed in Tsambe will surely be extended to all other council wards in Kyan, as a result, constituents in other wards so not have ambivalent feelings about his determination to made extended tremendous impact.
Mrs. Cynthia Dojoh under the canopy of the Association of Wives of Benue State House of Assembly members, praised Shimawua for beginning on a sound note, encouraging him to remain steadfast in his determination to make a significant difference in Kyan against all odds. She commissioned the Skill acquisition centre which has a barbing, hairdressing and computer sections with more to be introduced will Hon. Cephas Dyako, member representing Konshisha at the Benue State House of Assembly.
Former Vandeikya All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Alh. Abubakar Aseer Ihongu eulogized Shimawua as a leader who loves his constituents and will not disappoint them. He appreciated the BSHOA members who attended the occasion and those absent for their support in ensuring that the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia succeeds for the benefit of Benue State.
Warning those trying to cause mayhem in Benue State to destabilize Alia's administration, said the consequences will be dreadful.
Executive Secretary of Benue State Emergency Management Agency (BSEMA) Sir James Iorpuu, represented by his wife Mrs. Iorpuu expressed her happiness for the progress made by Shimawua. In complimenting Shimawua's efforts, Sir Iorpuu promised to donates start-up equipment to all those who might complete their training and might not have the resources to be established.
In their separate speeches, Sir Augustine Akaahan Aule (KSM), Mueter Kunav, Kyan; Dr. Peter Nongoatse, Tyoor Tsambe; Chief Ugese Isaac Kyoye, President General, Sambe Development Association worldwide; Hon. Julius Jev, Acting Chairman, APC, Vandeikya and Comrade Kelvin Bufu commended Shimawua and encouraged him not to be deterred by anyone but remain focused to transform Kyan.
