The Principal Special Assistant to the Benue state Governor on Youth and Students Affairs, Hon Comr Nevkaa Jacob Ter, was among other states Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Executive Assistants & Director Generals of Students Affairs to states government.
On Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, they attended the first inaugural National Students Management Council (NSMC) meeting with the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Hon Comr. Asefon Sunday, presiding over the meeting as head of the council.
The NSMC which comprises representative of the 36 states of the federation as members was inaugurated by SSA to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at Former SGF Hall, Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase 1, Abuja.
Inaugurating the Council President Tinubu, through his SSA on Students engagement charged all to support his administration’s move to transform educational system in Nigeria.
Be it known the program is aimed at strengthening the relationship between students and government programs leading to wealth creation in other to better students life after school.
The National students management council is to help the students in allying themselves with programs and policies designed by the president to help the students in capacity building and cushioning the effect of subsidy removal.
