Benue State Coordinator, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Stephen Numbeve on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 supervised the ongoing renovation of RAAMP office complex in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
The new office complex is located at High Level, close to Inikpi street at the former Pauline Maka Day Care centre.
Numbeve expressed satisfaction with the work in progress and commended the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for giving such a spacious area for RAAMP office complex to ensure effective service delivery of the agency creating more offices to accommodate various categories of staff, adequate space for conferences, storage and other related activities.
RAAMP is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The Project Development Objective (PDOs) of RAAMP project is to improve transport conditions and bring sustained access to the rural population through rehabilitating and maintaining key rural transport infrastructure in a sustainable manner. The vision is to be the Gold Standard in the delivery of Public Sector Projects.
The mission of RAAMP is to bring rapid sustainable development to the rural areas through the application of internationally benchmarked Project Management best practices in the delivery of Public sector projects. Accordingly, we bring to bear, innovative, standardized, cost-effecient and effective Management Services.
His Excellency, Gov Alia has once again acknowledged the importance of Benue RAAMP in developing critical rural infrastructure in the State and is committed through Numbeve to ensure that momentous impact is made.
