... Hon. Mato appeals for unity and commitment
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mbadede, Vandeikya, Benue State held a progressive meeting yesterday, Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at the residence of Hon. Denen Aondoakaa, Principal Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia on governor's delivery unit.
Previous meetings were held two times at the residence of Rt. Hon. Mrs. Dorathy Mato in Mede, Mbangur, Mbadede Vandeikya, Benue State. She said it was necessary for the meeting to be held mostly in Ihugh, the headquarters of Mbadede but can also be held elsewhere within Mbadede if need raises.
The meeting held for the third time was attended by Mbadede APC exco, stakeholders and elders amongst other party supporters. The meeting's principles are to unite APC members in Mbadede and be committed to supporting others to progress in achieving their political and non-political dreams.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Mato appealed to all Mbadede APC leaders, members and supporters to be united for the progress of the people and the party. She said the meeting should be held every month so that they will be well connected with one another and discussed issues affecting them and the party and proffer appropriate solutions.
According to her, if the meeting makes the desired impact, Gov. Alia will be impressed with them and also take part in most of the meeting subsequently.
Hon. Denen Aondoakaa, the host appreciated party exco, stakeholders, elders and supporters for honouring the invitation to the meeting. He particularly commended Hon. Mato for her initiative for such a progressive meeting to be held monthly.
He assured them that the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia will continue to do his best to transform Benue State for the benefit of all.
He noted that the suffering experienced by the good people of Benue State and Nigerians by extension is really felt, but better days will surely come in the end of all the tussles.
In their separate speeches, the Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State governor on Youth and Students' Affairs, Hon. Jacob Nevkaa Terungwa, and Special Assistant to the governor on Culture and Entertainment, Hon. Mfater Kaha ( El-Stuffy) reaffirmed their commitment to projecting Gov. Alia's agenda for the good people of Benue State, and the good people of Mbadede must be united if they must be participants and beneficiary of collective progress.
They eulogized Mato for being instrumental in their political career which has propelled them to the levels they are in government today.

Inspector Samuel Anzenge, Dorathy Shisi amongst others.
