By Terfa Naswem The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Benue State on Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Dennis Akura eulogized the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia as a progressive governor who has placed the interest of the good people of Benue State above his personal interest.
Speaking at the award ceremony and launching for church renovation at NKST Adeiyongo, Vandeikya Benue State, Akura urged the congregation to rekindle their faith in God and continue to have hope in a new and better Benue under the auspices of Alia whom the Almighty God their serve has anointed to take Benue State out of the dungeon of underdevelopment to the realm of unprecedented development in terms of human capital and infrastructural development which are happening as they are evident to all.
He appreciated the church for recognising the impact of Alhaji Abubakar Aseer Ihongo and finding him worthy to be offered an award. He also gave cash donation to the church to propel its renovation to completion.
