The 1st Late MKO Abiola U-20 Soccer Championship Holds In Lagos

The 1st late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola U-20 Soccer championship is set to hold in Lagos. The competition which is aimed at celebrating the sporting legacies of the late business mogul and sports philantropist is being organised by foremost grassroots football outfit, AFO FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, led by the vastly experienced grassroots football promoter, Afolabi Olalekan Onanaike. 

According to the Chief Organiser, entry for the championship which is free is expected to close on the 30th of April, 2016. 

Speaking with the press after paying a courtesy visit to the family of the late business mogul and Pillar Of Sports in Africa, the Chairman of Afo Football Association expressed his gratitude to the family of the late business mogul, the Lagos FA, as well as the State government for the support the competition have received so far. 

Meanwhile, the championship which is expected to be played between 13th May - 12th June 2016 at the Hilario Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos, is promising mouth-watering prizes which include a giant trophy and a playing tour of Dubai for the winning team and a cash prize, as well as a trophy for the runner-up.
