Inciting Comment: Apostle Suleiman Storms DSS Office With 30 Lawyers To Honour Invitation

Inciting Comment: Apostle Suleiman Storms DSS Office With 30 Lawyers To Honour Invitation

APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEIMAN
In a bid to honour an invitation by the Nigerian Secret Police, the DSS the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman will tomorrow, Monday 30th January 2017 storm their office with consortuim of 30 lawyers, report by Punch Newspaper suggests

Tthe cleric, according to media reports was invited for interrogation on Monday (tomorrow) by 10am, based on his recent alleged inciting comments that Christians should defend themselves against attacks by Fulani herdsmen.

Punch Newspaper said; “Suleman will be appearing before the DSS with about 30 lawyers because we believe that his persecution has become politicised,” a source stated.

The invitation is coming four days after Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State foiled attempts by the DSS to arrest Suleman in his Hotel room at Ado-Ekiti.

The Christian Association of Nigeria had also raised the alarm that Suleman “has become a refugee in Ekiti State as security operatives are said to be searching every nook and cranny of the state to arrest him.”

The DSS had reportedly invaded a hotel in Ekiti where Suleman and his team, who were in the state capital for a crusade, were accommodated.

Our Source further disclosed that Aposle Suleman had indicated his intention to respond to the invitation.

When contacted, the clerics Communications Adviser, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, confirmed the invitation, saying he would appear before the DSS on Monday.

He said, “Yes, I can confirm to you that he (Suleman) was officially invited and as a law-abiding citizen, he will honour the DSS invitation on Monday. The invitation, though ludicrous and an afterthought, is a welcome development.”

Reacting to the invitation, Punch Newspaper further reported that former Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His Eminence Sunday Ola Makinde, said that Nigeria should not be turned to a “police state.”

Makinde said, “He should be law-abiding, let him go and face the DSS. Let us see if they will detain him and they will detain so many religious leaders in Abuja.

“Nigeria is greater than any religion and Nigeria is greater than anybody. The DSS should watch it. If they like, let me be the next victim. What is annoying them is that Suleman converted from Islam to Christianity.

“Self-defence is permissible; they slapped our first cheek. They slapped the second cheek and we have no other cheek to turn for them. We may therefore resort to self-defence because this thing is becoming intolerable.”

The cleric is expected to tell the DSS how President Muhammadu Buhari would face impeachment threats and how Abuja would experience major fire explosion as contained in his predictions.

Suleman, according to a security source is also expected to give an insight into his prediction that “Buhari will be bereaved in 2017” and that the President’s “health needs attention.”

The security agency is also expected to drill him on his prediction that “Forces in Aso Rock are planning to poison current First Lady (Aisha Buhari).”

The security source said most of the actions and predictions of the prophet could destabilise the country.

JUST IN: Multiple Bomb Blasts Rock Adamawa, Scores Killed
Three bombs have exploded in Madagali town in the northern part of Adamawa State, killing many people.

Eye witnesses said three explosions occurred this morning at a crowded motor park on the outskirt of the town.

Casualty figure is not clear as volunteers and security men were evacuating bodies from the scene.

A local official who did not want his name published confirmed the attack, saying there was yet no detail of casualty and that it was not clear whether the attack was suicide.

The Spokesperson of the 28 Task Force Battalion in Mubi, Major Bakare Akintoye did not pick phone calls from our correspondent.

Boko Haram’s six-year insurgency in North-eastern Nigeria has led to the death of over 20,000 people, destroyed more than 1,000 schools and displaced more than 1.5million people.

The insurgency has kept about one million children out of school in Nigeria, forced more than two million people to flee their homes, particularly in the three neighbouring states, according to the UN children’s agency.

Boko Haram has frequently targeted crowded areas — such as markets, places of worship and refugee camps — in suicide bomb attacks across northeast Nigeria and in neighboring Cameroon and Niger.

The Jihadist group has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State and often displays its trademark black flag.

Vendetta: In Case You Don't Know, Dasuki Is My In-law - Buhari

Vendetta: In Case You Don't Know, Dasuki Is My In-law - Buhari

Dasuki and Buhari
President Buhari's biographer, John Paden, has dismissed allegations of a personal vendetta by Buhari on embattled former former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

In his recently launched book titled ‘Muhammadu Buhari: The Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria,’ Paden stated that Buhari and Dasuki's family have been united by marriage in the last four decades and that although Dasuki participated in the 1985 coup that forced him out of office, Buhari never begrudged him for his actions.

“It is beyond the scope of this study to assess all the backstories of the relationship between Buhari and Dasuki. Suffice it to say that the so-called grudge between the two has never really existed."

"Dasuki is 12 years younger than Buhari, even though Dasuki did participate in the 1985 countercoup. The family of Ibrahim Dasuki and the Buhari extended family have been linked by marriage for more than four decades. In addition, in his inaugural address, Buhari had professed that although, ‘the past is prologue,’ he had no time to pursue alleged ‘enemies'"

"Yet the real story has little to do with personal or political relationships. As noted throughout this study, Buhari has a strong belief in right and wrong. He has an abiding respect for the Nigerian military as an institution that can help hold Nigeria together."

"From Buhari perspective, if corruption in military procurement undermines the integrity of the military, that corruption must be confronted. And if such procurement allegations weaken the military response to Boko Haram and put ordinary foot soldiers at risk, that corruption poses a double threat, endangering even the Nigeria project itself” he wrote."
