News Proof 26.4.16 No comments Edit Post
Claudio Ranieri's men, Leicester City are just three points away from clinching the historic English Premier League title following a 1-all draw league match between major league contender, Tottenham and West Brom on Monday.
Tottemham's draw leaves Spurs seven points adrift of Leicester with each team only having three games left.
Claudio Ranieri's unfancied side started the season as 5,000-1 outsiders for the title.
Usual championship contenders Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and defending champions Chelsea have struggled for consistency.
Speaking after Monday's game, West Brom boss Tony Pulis told BBC Radio 5 live: "I just want Leicester to win it. Leicester is such a wonderful story and I don't think it can happen anywhere else but in this country.
"What Leicester can do is dig results out and that's what they've done. I just think it's a wonderful, wonderful story. But they still have a lot of work to do", BBC sports says

Ted cruz and John Kasich have reportedly formed an alliance against the leading Republican party co-aspirant Donald Trump.
Report published on BBC suggests that Donald Trump's two rivals for the Republican party's presidential nomination have announced they will now co-ordinate strategies against him.
Ted Cruz will cut campaigning in the Oregon and New Mexico primaries to help John Kasich, while the latter will give Mr Cruz a "clear path" in Indiana.
Mr Trump said his rivals were "totally desperate" and "mathematically dead".
He has a clear lead in delegates but may still fall short of the 1,237 needed to win outright.
If he does not reach the target, the vote will go to a contested convention - where a different nominee may emerge through negotiations among party figures.
Donald Trump currently has 845 delegates, Mr Cruz 559 and Mr Kasich 148
Mr Cruz and Mr Kasich announced their move in near-simultaneous statements.
Mr Cruz's campaign manager, Jeff Roe, said: "Having Donald Trump at the top of the ticket in November would be a sure disaster for Republicans. Not only would Trump get blown out by Hillary Clinton or [Bernie] Sanders, but having him as our nominee would set the party back a generation."
John Weaver, Mr Kasich's strategist, said in a statement released on the Team Kasich site: "Our goal is to have an open convention in Cleveland, where we are confident a candidate capable of uniting the party and winning in November will emerge as the nominee," BBC report says

News Proof 16.4.16 No comments Edit Post
Under a new direction to diversify before the end of oil, Saudi Arabia is setting up the world’s largest fund, a $2 trillion investment fund,Public Investment Fund (PIF) that will enable it literally buy the world and change markets as they are known today.
The $2 trillion PIF will be the largest public-private company in the world.
Run by Deputy Crown Saudi Prince and heir Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, almost 31, and son of the current King and chair of the Saudi Council for Economic and Development Affairs, the fund is so huge it can buy Google, Apple, Microsoft, the largest companies in the world and still have billions to spare.
The $2trillion will be raised from just the sale of 5% of the Saudi oil giant state company, Aramco.
With the new investment fund, Saudi Arabia can acquire all existing hedges, mutual, or holding funds.
Every trader and banker will work under Saudi Arabia in the future. There has never been anything like this in recent world history.
Whether this is Islamic is a whole other story as Islam is said to prohibit futures, hedges and other trades in non actual goods or in forecasts and other capital market systems that artificially inflate prices and ‘gamble.’
The Kingdom royals already own many interest serving banks like Citigroup.

Four days after Salah Abdesalam, the most wanted suspect in the November 13, Paris attacks that killed 130 persons was arrested in Brussels, Belgium, three explosions hit the country’s airport and metro station on Tuesday, killing no fewer than 34 people.
At least 230 others sustained injuries in the attacks, which the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has claimed responsibility, according to the AMAQ News Agency.
This came as President Muhammadu Buhari and his United States counterpart, Barack Obama, called for international cooperation to fight terrorism.
The AMAQ news agency said, “Islamic State fighters carried out a series of bombings with explosive belts and devices on Tuesday, targeting the airport and the metro station in the centre of the Belgian capital Brussels.”
Belgian Prime Minister, Charles Michel, had told reporters, “We feared terrorist attacks, and that has now happened.”
Belgian federal Prosecutor, Frederic Van Leeuw, on Tuesday, also said that it was too soon to know exactly how many people died in the bombings.
According to CNN, Belgian state broadcaster, RTBF, citing emergency services, reported 20 dead at the Maelbeek metro station and 14 more killed at Brussels’ international airport.
After the explosions, Belgian authorities hit the streets looking for those responsible for the carnage and who might launch more attacks.
Reuters reports that a witness said he heard shouts in Arabic and shots shortly before two explosions struck the packed airport departure lounge.
Van Leeuw said a suicide bomber probably triggered one of the explosions.
Meanwhile, Buhari, on Tuesday, joined world leaders in condemning the attacks.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President commiserated with Prime Minister Charles Michel and Belgians over the loss of lives in the attacks.
The statement read in part, “President Buhari believes that the appalling attack on Brussels reinforces the need for greater international cooperation to effectively confront and destroy global terrorism and its perpetrators.
“The President assures the global community that under his leadership, Nigeria will continue to work with other countries to ensure that terrorism never triumphs over free, peaceful and law-abiding nations and people of the world.
“He wishes the more than 100 persons injured in the attacks a speedy recovery.”
Also, Obama, who spoke in Cuba, said there was need for international cooperation to fight terrorism.
Obama said, “We must be together regardless of nationality or race or faith in fighting against the scourge of terrorism. We can and we will defeat those who threaten the safety and security of people all around the world.”
