GOSAR 7s TOURNAMENT HOLDS IN LAGOS

The fast growing game of Rugby football comes alive Tomorow Saturday 20th August 2016 at the Navy Barracks playing ground, Ajegunle, Lagos, in the Gosar 7s tournament.
The NRFF sanctioned tournament is expected to feature top ranking rugby clubs in the state, such as Cowrie RFC, Racing RFC, Eco ll, Gosar Rfc, Gazelle Development, amongst others.
Speaking on the tournament, the coordinator, Gbenga Adeniran, explained that the tournament is being organised to fill the yawning vacuum in the sport, since the regular season came to an end few months ago.
"We want to keep the enthusiasm and passion for the game going by organising this tournament to keep players and lovers of the gentleman's game busy at this time, " the former Black Stallions of Nigeria star stated.
He also added that the tournament is also specifically being staged in the Ajegunle area of Lagos, to generate more love and interest for the game, particularly, at the grassroots level.
