How University of Ibadan Female Law Student Died Mysteriously Jumping To Her Death

The University of Ibadan on Wednesday said a 100 Level female Law student of the institution died on Monday during a show at her hall of residence.

A statement signed by the institution’s Director of Public Communications, Olatunji Oladejo, said Miss Effiong Imarbong died after she jumped from a dangerous position having displayed signs of restlessness during the show.

The statement said, “It is with deep regret that the management of the University of Ibadan announces the sudden death of Miss Effiong Deborah Imarbong, a 100 Level student in our Faculty of Law on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

“Her sudden death, however, remains a mystery. It is in the light of the above that the university management wishes to state that the cause(s) of her death are still being investigated by the appropriate authorities. Moreover, her parents had been duly contacted by the relevant key officers of the university on the loss.

“It is pertinent to state that by the tradition of the Queen Elizabeth II Hall where she was a resident, an event tagged ‘Freshers/Finalists’ Week’’ was organised by the hall’s Executive Council.

“Her colleagues reported that the deceased was seen at the hall cafeteria, the venue of the movie show.

“Furthermore, it was reported that she was seen at about 8.40pm.  Thereafter, she received a telephone call from a fellow; she left the venue of the movie show to meet the caller. The fellow had been identified after her death by the Campus Security Service.”

The statement added that Imarbong became hyperactive and developed strange attitude after returning to the hall and left the venue after a wild dance.

“It was further revealed that she left the venue of the movie show and, thereafter, there was a bang, which her colleagues explained, she jumped from a dangerous position in the Hall.  She was later found by her colleagues in a seemingly helpless condition in the precinct of the hall,” the statement said.

Oladejo said the deceased was rushed to the UCH where efforts to save her live proved futile.

Wife of former President, Taiwo Obasanjo has said that the wedding between her son, Olujunwo and Tope Adebutu is an occultic ceremony which will result in a feast of death.

In a statementon Tuesday, Obasanjo said that the May 11 and 13, 2017 chosen by both the Obasanjo and Adebutu family for their children’s wedding was compelled by Satan to lure unsuspecting numerous souls to a banquet of death that would herald in strange holocaust in the country.

Obasanjo who had earlier lost an attempt to use the court to stop the wedding, stated that her plea to family members on the evil consequences of the wedding date and the need to postpone it fell on deaf ears.

She also claimed that her daughter-in-law, Tope and and her mother, Rosemary Dacosta intended to use the wedding to prolong their life and renew their covenant with Satan.

She warned those attending the wedding that immediately after the wedding, there would be strange diseases, multiple road accidents, plane crashes, fire incidents and strange death across the country.

Obasanjo insisted that her son had been bewitched and cast under a spell and that all entreaty to make him see reason why the wedding should be postponed has failed.

She stated that on the day of the wedding, she will led a peaceful protest march at the venue since all her effort to stop the wedding seem to have failed.

” Please I want the whole world to know that I am not mad and I am not against my son’s wedding but the whole truth will be revealed by the almighty God who sees in secret all that is hidden. I have written to the Nigerian Police and the Military Police of my intention to peacefully have a protest as a citizen of Nigeria. Me and my people shall be peacefully singing, dancing and praising God,” she said.

In a separate letter to the Prelate, Methodist Church of Nigeria urging the church to consider rescheduling the wedding, Obasanjo said she would continue to pray for the liberation of her son from the spell cast on him.

A student of the prestigious University of Lagos, Ariyibi Ayomide has committed suicide following accusations of stealing by her roommates.

According to Ajani Damilola who shared the news on Facebook, Ayomide was a 100 level Employee Relations and Human Resources Management student before her death 2 days ago.

Ayomide shared a room with other female students at the Aminat Hostel, and trouble started when things went missing and the items, including clothes and makeups, were found in Ayomide’s bags.

The narrator adds that the young student was mocked and humiliated by roommates. Her mother, a staff of the university, intervened. She took Ayomide home before rushing back to work. All alone by herself, the young student drank the poisonous liquid insecticide, Sniper. She was only found unresponsive when her mother returned from work.

Damilola who shared this story, reports that Ayomide was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Sadly, she died on the night of April 29.

Two desperate Nigerian ladies  living in the United State of American have been begging one Abiodun Joseph, who faked to be the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Facebook to be his Oloris, thinking he the was the monarch.

According to Punch Newspaper, the ladies were eventually duped by Abiodun Joseph who has been arrested and paraded by the Ogun State Police Command.

Punch Newspaper detailed the bearded suspect was said to have been arrested on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Ilese, in the Ijebu North East Local Government Area.

Joseph was paraded alongside three armed robbers and kidnappers at the state command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Monday.

The suspect had allegedly duped the ladies, who were based in the United States of America, to the tune of N600,000, which was paid through money transfer.

While parading the suspects, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said Joseph had been using his Facebook and Whatsapp accounts to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.

He said his men got wind of the illicit act of the 26-year-old suspect and swung into action.

He said, “On interrogation, he owned up to the crime and confessed that he defrauded the ladies of N600,000.”

While speaking with PUNCH Metro, Joseph said he opened the Facebook account in October 2016 to defraud people.

He said he uploaded Ooni’s pictures from the Internet and used them on the Facebook account, adding that in no time, ladies began to send him requests, commenting on his good looks.

Joseph revealed that many ladies sent requests to him that they wanted to be his oloris (wives) thinking he was genuine, adding that he exploited their desperation to defraud some of them.

He said, “I opened the Facebook account in October last year purposely for Internet scam. I knew that Ooni was popular and that was why I uploaded his picture.

“A few days after I opened the Facebook account, many people, mostly ladies, sent friend requests. Many of them said I had good looks and they wanted to be my oloris.

“In our chats, I told them that they have to pay some money for traditional ritual if they are really interested in being the oloris. Two of them in the US fell for the scam and sent some money to me totalling N600,000 through money transfer.

“One sent N350,000 and the second one sent N250,000.

“Some of the ladies were really desperate; some of them sent nude pictures, showing their breasts and private parts (as seen by our reporter from one of the two iPhone 6 seized from the suspect).”

Joseph, however, said one of the ladies who wanted to be oloris demanded that he should buy her a house worth N45m.

The suspect said he told her that she had to pay N5m out of the amount and he would make up the balance.

He said he was still waiting for the N5m when the police swooped on his residence and arrested him.

“I regret my action, most especially using the name and pictures of the Ooni to perpetuate fraud. I seek his forgiveness,” he said.

Iliyasu also paraded one suspected armed robber, Shakirudeen Shittu, who was arrested at Ogijo.

He also said a member of an eight-man robbery/kidnapping gang, who allegedly attacked a quarry in Ijebu Ode to kidnap Chinese expatriates, was fatally wounded during the exchange of fire between the gang and the police.

Iliyasu said a manhunt for other fleeing members of the gang was on.

RESCUED Alive After 3 Days, 3 Days Old Baby Buried By Wicked Mother ..See Photos

A baby boy was saved from death after he was pulled out of a shallow grave in the town of Paddock, KwaZulu-Natal Province, Eastern South Africa, where he was buried by his 25-year-old South African mother.

The baby had reportedly been in the grave for three days and was discovered after factory staff heard a cry and decided to investigate.

The baby’s mother, who works in a factory, made a makeshift grave using sand and timber taken from the factory.

After the baby was found days later by her co-workers, the mother confessed that she buried him because she was upset that her parents will be angry with her for having a second child.

The District Police Officer, Captain Gerald Mfeka confirmed the incident to journalists, saying, “They searched and found him hidden underneath some timber, covered in sand.

“On hearing the commotion, the mother confessed that the child was hers. Her explanation was that she was afraid of her parents.

“This was her second child, the elder one being four years old, and she felt her parents would not approve of another baby.”
