Amidst the rumoured marriage between the ace nollywood superstar, Funke Akidele and the popular rapper, born Abdul Rasheed Bello, fondly called JJC Skillz, the later has finally confirmed both are now husband and wife.
The celebrity couple, in a statement signed by Funke Akindele’s publicist, Biodun Kupoluyi, said they chose a quiet wedding in London because neither of them wanted to be at the centre of attention having been on that lane before.
“The decision to do it quietly was right for us and we pray for the understanding of our close friends and fans at this offer of a lifetime moment.
“At a good time, we shall look back and in appreciation of divine grace and your support, we shall celebrate milestones and where we are in life.”
Jenifa as she is fondly called by fans tied the nuptial nuts with her beau in London, United Kingdom on August 23.
Although, the duo had debunked rumours which made the rounds of their relationship for quite some time, the ‘quiet’ wedding which came as a surprise to Nigerians was witnessed by immediate family members and very close associates.
