Dr. Harrison Adeniyi of Department of Yoruba, Literature and Communication Arts, Lagos State University, Ojo, has emerged as the national President of Linguistic Association of Nigeria, LAN.
In an election which took place yesterday night at the prestigious University of Jos, Plateau State, during the Annual General Meeting of the association, Dr. Harrison got overwhelming votes from professional colleagues to pilot the affair of the professional academic association.
The versatile linguist with international repute in his word of appreciation posted on his facebook page was full of appreciations for the confidence reposed in him to steer the affair of the organization.
He, however, pledged to do all withing him to justify the confidence reposed in him by his professional colleagues.
