Kelechi Darlington Madueke, professionally known as Milly Kay, (born 15 August 1991) hails from Anambra State, Nigeria, and based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a musician and songwriter.
He began his education at High Gate Primary School, Lagos ; went on to Total Standard College, Ikeja, Lagos, before going on to obtain a Bachelor in Science degree in Computer Science at the Monash University, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Born to Mr. Paul Madueke and Mrs Angelina Madueke and the sixth child out of seven, he has always wanted to be a footballer, but his love for music and songwriting was more intense.
Milly Kay has been involved in other forms of entertainment since 2006, including magazine production, script writing, acting and songwriting. Decidedly, he chose being an artiste because music is a means of expressing his inner feelings about his milieu, situations around the world and in the mould of his mentors, late Chief Stephen Olisadebe and Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Described by music aficionados as immensely talented, it is not a surprise that since he started professional music in 2011, his stocks as a musician has also been on the rise.
Milly Kay, whose style of music is Afro pop and Afro beat has kicked started his foray into the Nigerian music industry. And having worked in recent times with top Nigerian music producers which includes Base Tu, Maestro, Kiddominant, Don Adah, amongst others, he is set to storm the music scene with his latest project which begins with a potential chart bursting song featuring Tekno.
