Nigeria Has Gained Much From Tinubu, Will Still Gain More - Buhari Says
News Proof 28.3.17 No comments Edit Post
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday congratulated a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his 65th birthday.
He said the nation had benefitted a lot from the Tinubu’s personal sacrifices, political experience, and intellectual foresight and still stands to gain more.
Buhari’s goodwill message was contained in a statement made available to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.
The statement read, “President Buhari joins all members of the APC, political and business associates of the Asiwaju of Lagos, his friends and family, in celebrating another milestone in the life of the great leader, whose foray into politics ushered in a better understanding of building consensus to achieve historical feats, like unseating an incumbent government.
“As he turns 65 years, the President believes the Asiwaju raised the bar for many political leaders across the country as a two-term governor of Lagos State, and also bequeathed a style of leadership that completely altered the landscape of the commercial capital.
“Recalling his pleasant and intellectually enriching encounters with the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom over the years, the President reaffirms that the nation has benefitted a lot from the personal sacrifices, political experience and intellectual foresight of the APC chieftain, and still stands to gain more.
“President Buhari prays that the almighty God will grant the Asiwaju good health, longer life and more wisdom to serve his country and humanity.”
Angered at the illegal recruitment exercise into the federal civil service, President Muhammadu Buhari has given the approved the dismissal of five directors at the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD).
The five directors, whose identities were yet to be disclosed by the Head of the Service of the Federation, Wilfred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, were sacked with immediate effect.
All five of them were reportedly appointed during the administration of former President, Goodluck Jonathan in contravention to one of the public service rules that has to do with their age as at the time of recruitment.
They were found guilty of employment irregularities after investigation.
Meanwhile, other staff of the parastatal in charge of Nigeria’s pension were redeployed to the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.

SHOCKING Memo To Buhari: At Last, Gov. El-Rufai Breaks Silence, Reveals Top Secrets ...You'll Be Shocked
News Proof 27.3.17 No comments Edit Post
For the first time, the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has personally reacted to his much-talked memo to President Muhammadu Buhari which has sparked suspicions that all may not be well between him and the President.
The Governor in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust Newspaper asserted that some APC members with 2019 Presidential ambition of twisting the content of his memo to President Muhammadu Buhari to achieve sinister motives.
Below is an excerpt from the interview
El-rufai Said:
“This is a memo from an APC governor to an APC president, but who is shouting more than everyone? It is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) people that are trying to describe who I am to an APC president. Many of these things going on are being driven by the PDP, who think that they have got something to mind. Secondly, within our party, there are people that have started running for the presidency. There are people that think Buhari is finished and will not run for a second time, blah blah blah. They are running for 2019, so they will do everything to twist what is in that memo.
I believe I am a target because there is a pattern and I can give you few examples in the last two weeks. I am a target because I made everyone that has the ambition to run for the president of Nigeria know that I am a Buharist. As long as Buhari is around, there is no point even talking to me. So I am a target. And those that have these ambitions know that when 2019 comes, by the grace of God and President Buhari says he wants to run, I will be at the frontline fighting for him.
If by 2019 President Buhari says, ‘I am not running, this is the person I am supporting,’ they know I can die to make sure that person becomes the president. They know that I will follow Buhari.
So I have no friends among those with presidential ambition. This is what is going on. I can go on and list examples. In the last three to four weeks, someone planted a story that the Kaduna State Assembly wanted to impeach me. It’s totally false. Someone planted a story on the social media that I collapse from time to time since I went for primaries in Kogi. And I said, ‘I have never collapsed in my life, never.’
In the last three weeks again, this memo was leaked and there are stories that I leaked it because I want to distance myself from the government and I have this or that ambition. If you read that memo you would see that one of my concerns is that we need to clean up our political space so that President Buhari would run again. This is my aspiration. There were stories that I refused to receive the president.
I have enrolled in a part-time PhD programme at the University-Merit in the Netherlands. It was the vice president that wrote the recommendation for me to get admitted into the programme, so I am not doing it without the knowledge of the authorities. It is a programme that requires me to go to the Netherlands for two weeks and most of it is research-based. I do the research in my spare time. That was where I was when I got a call from the president that he would be returning to Nigeria on Friday. I was in the Netherlands, but I did everything, including getting a friend of mine with a private jet to send me a plane so I could come back and receive the president, but it was simply impossible because even if he sent the jet, the pilot must rest for some hours. In this state, we already have a system in which whenever I am not around, the deputy governor becomes acting governor. This has happened at least 15 times. I write to the state Assembly just like the president wrote when he was going. So, I got the consent of the president to have the deputy governor receive him while I continued with my programme. That was what happened. Many of the things you see going on, even the situation in Southern Kaduna, there are people with presidential ambition that are investing in it to make it look worse, to target me.
We read yesterday that my former chief of staff, Hadiza Bala Usman, had given people 25,000 dollars. Hadiza is in Senegal or somewhere attending some official events and I called her and told her: ‘You must sue the paper, let them prove their case.’
Again, DSS Unleashes Fresh Petition, Evidences Against EFCC Boss As Buhari Insist It's Magu or Nobody
News Proof 25.3.17 No comments Edit Post
There were indications yesterday that President Muhammadu Buhari will insist on Mr. Ibrahim Magu becoming the substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after the Senate has twice turned down his confirmation.
The President appears set to overrule the Department of State Services (DSS) whose report had said that Magu was not fit for the seat.
The President, it was learnt, will soon make his position on the embattled acting EFCC boss known.
A Presidency source who spoke with our correspondent in confidence yesterday said the President has a soft spot for Magu.
The source, an insider in power politics in the Presidency, said: “Personally, the President prefers Magu and he is standing by him. As at this week, the position of the President has not changed.
“There is no doubt that the President’s advisers have recommended the retention of Magu and he is likely to heed their advice.
“As I am talking to you, there is no fresh security report or any updated information which can make Buhari to turn against Magu. So, he is likely to stand by his letter to the Senate.
“At personal level, Buhari has confided in his key aides that he wants Magu in charge of EFCC.”
Responding to a question, the Presidency source said “the President will soon make his official position known on this matter. He has received a letter from the Senate, and he is studying why Magu was rejected by the chamber.”
Another source said the President might “overrule the DSS, but he will address the crisis of confidence among his strategic aides.”
At press time, it was learnt that the DSS was adamant in its opposition to Magu.
Although a memo on Magu from the DSS to the Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN) leaked to the press yesterday, there were indications that it was part of the plot to stop Buhari from re-nominating the Acting EFCC chair.
In the memo, which Magu had responded to, the DSS attached 12 documents against Magu.
The memo, signed by Folashade Bello for the DG of DSS, said in part: “ I am directed to forward the attached documents in respect of the report earlier dispatched by this Service to the Presidency on the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim MAGU.
“They are marked annexures A to L and are highlighted as follows:
Annexure ‘A’ – This is a copy of minutes of the 20th Plenary Meeting of the Police Service Commission on 20th December, 2010, chaired by Mr. Parry B. O. OSAYANDE (DIG/Rtd) who was then Chairman of the Commission. The minutes indicate that MAGU was indicted after a disciplinary process and awarded Severe Reprimand for “Action prejudicial to state security, Withholding of EFFC files) Sabotage, Unauthorised removal of EFCC files and Acts unbecoming of a Police Officer.” It is worthy to note here that Severe Reprimand is the second highest punishment to be given to an erring officer, other than compulsory retirement or dismissal from Service.
Annexure ‘B’- This is a copy of the confessional statement of Air Commodore Mohammmed UMAR (Rtd), a suspect hitherto detained and currently being prosecuted by the Service. The statement affirms his ownership of Valcour S.A Nigeria Limited, a company awarded the contract of securing and furnishing an official residence for Ibrahim MAGU by the FCTA. Investigation revealed that this was facilitated after MAGU was earlier shown the residence by one Uche ALEKA, a close business associate of UMAR, who was introduced to MAGU by the former.
Annexure ‘C’- This is a forged Memo which supposedly originated from the office of the Vice President and addressed to Mr. President. This was recovered from the private residence of UMAR during a search operation by this Service. The document is a request for approval to commence further investigation into financial activities of Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources) Ibe KACHIKWU. Also attached to the Memo are two (2) genuine investigation reports .by EFCC on the Honourable Minister, dated 24th March, 2016 & 13th April, 2016 and duly signed by MAGU. One of the two (2) attachments indicates that the original investigation report earlier was purportedly received in the VP’s office by one Folabo KAY.
Annexure ‘D’- This is a letter from the Office of the Vice President affirming that Annexure “C” is a forged document.
Annexure ‘E’- This is a copy of Progress report with reference number SH/ COS/ 24/ A/7277 dated 25th May) 2016 on NNPC/ NLG Brass Investment Accounts in Nigerian Commercial Banks from Chief of Staff to Mr. President, Abba KYARI to the Acting EFCC Chairman. The letter is an official/classified document of’ the EFCC which was duly received by the Commission as indicated by the stamp on the document. However, it was recovered at UMAR’s residence.
Annexure “F’ – These are photocopies of Managers’ cheques of First Bank PLC and
Zenith Bank PLC) issued in favour of EFCC Recovery Funds Account on 13/05/2016 and 16/05/2016,n respectively. These are all sensitive official documents of the EFCC found in UMAR’s residence during the search.
Annexure ‘G’- A classified letter from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to the EFCC Chairman titled Re: Request to Freeze Accounts Messers Bebey: Merchant Ltd and 20 others, dated 7th March, 2016. This document was also duly received by EFCC but found in Commodore UMAR’s house during the search.
Annexure ‘H’- A document which emanated from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and addressed to the EFCC Chairman on 6th May, 2016 with the subject, Re: Stop Debit Order on all NNPC Accounts and Subsidiaries- A case for Joint Venture & NNPC Pension Funds Accounts. The document was recovered at UMAR’s residence.
Annexure ‘I’- NNPC Letter GED/ F&A/08.26 dated 5th May, 2016 addressed to the EFCC Chairman and titled Re: Stop Debit Order on all NNPC Accounts and Subsidiaries. This was also discovered during the search of
UMAR’s residence.
Annexure ‘J’- This is a copy of NNPC correspondence with reference number GED/F&A/08.26 dated May 5th, 2016 and titled Re: Stop Debit Order on all NNPC Accounts and Subsidiaries- Transfer of FCT Balances to NNPC’s TSA Accounts, addressed to the EFCC Chairman. The document was found in UMAR’s residence.
xi. Annexure “‘K’ – A copy of an NNPC letter with reference number GED/F&A/08.26 dated May 5th, 2016 and titled Re: Stop Debit on all NNPC Accounts and Subsidiaries- Critical Accounts for immediate operations to the EFCC Chairman. The document was also recovered during the search of UMAR)s house.
xii. Annexure ‘L’ Copy of Confessional Statement by UMAR to the Service stating that his trip to Maiduguri for condolence visit to Ibrahim MAGU, sequel to the loss of a close relative, was made on behalf of the Presidential Committee on Audit of Arms Purchase. Cross examination of the Chairman of the Committee, AVM John ODE (Rtd), revealed that the committee did not send any of its members on such an assignment. The visit of UMAR to MAGU is therefore assessed as an expression of their close sinister relationship at the detriment of National Security interests.
In his response to a query by the AGF based on the DSS memo, Magu had, however, faulted all the allegations and the documents.
He said Commodore Mohammed Umar (rtd) never served as a front for him.
He said: “Sir, it is important to situate my relationship with Commodore Mohammed Umar (rtd), in proper perspective.
“Our paths crossed when we became members of the Presidential Committee on the investigation on arms procurement. He was instrumental in getting some of the information that helped the committee to make significant breakthrough in its assignment.
“Beyond that, the relationship between Umar and myself is one of professional acquaintance, devoid of issues of conflict of interest. So, it comes to me with shock, the imputation by the DSS that we have a “mutually beneficial relationship”.
“This appears suggestive that Mohammed and I were involved in activities that could be said to be untoward. I certainly have no knowledge of such activities.
“The claim that EFCC documents, including EFCC letters addressed to the Vice President and being investigation reports on the activities of Emmanuel Kachikwu and his brother Dumebi Kachikwu, were found in his home during a search by the DSS came to me as a surprise.
“ If that is correct, he should be made to disclose how he came by such documents. I never discussed my official duties with him let alone give him documents pertaining to investigations being conducted by the Commission.
“Interestingly, Mohammed was detained for several months by the DSS. In all those months, did he claim that I mandated him to commit any crime or that I was an accomplice to any crime? If there is any such claim, I will wholeheartedly like to be confronted with the allegation.
“It is interesting to note that when Mohammed was eventually charged to court, the charges against him were money laundering and illegal possession of firearms, and nothing related to my purported “shady” relationship with him.”
Magu explained the circumstances in which EFCC files were found in his house after the removal of the pioneer Chairman of EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
He said: “It is true that my residence was searched on the orders of Mrs. Farida Waziri, shortly after she succeeded Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as Chairman of the EFCC and some documents relating to cases under investigation were found in my house. At the time of the raid, I was yet to formally hand over to my successor, Umar Sanda, as head of the Economic Governance Unit.
“My schedule at the time warranted that I worked round the clock and it was impossible to conclude all assignments without working at home.
“The documents found in my house were actually found in my office bag where I kept documents relating to investigations. I was in the process of handing over and it would be wrong to suggest that I willfully kept the Commission’s files at home.
“Nevertheless, the incident was thoroughly investigated by the police as I was placed on suspension without pay for 20 months. But in the end, I was reprimanded, recalled and promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police.
“It is important, sir, to draw your attention to the fact that some of us that worked closely with Ribadu were victimised after his exit.
“And my ordeal was orchestrated as punishment for being the chief investigative officer for most of the high profile cases involving politically exposed persons some of whom became very influential in government at the time.
On the N39.8 million apartment rented for him, Magu said it was false that the house was also furnished for N43 million.
He added: “I live in the official residence of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This accommodation, contrary to the report of the DSS, is not my private home, neither was it rented and furnished for me by Commodore Umar Mohammed (rtd).
“It was rented and furnished by the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory through the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, under the safe house scheme.
“It is also false that the house was rented for N20 million per annum and furnished for N43 million. The entire cost for both two-year rent and the furnishing of the house is N39.628 million.
“Details of the transaction are contained in the contract award letter and payment schedule which are attached to this letter.”
He described the two times he flew in a private jet with Air Commodore Mohammed Umar, who was investigated by the DSS, as harmless gestures.
He said: “Honourable Minister, the claim that I have a penchant for expensive air travels in a private jet belonging to Commodore Mohammed is baseless. The two times I can recall traveling in Commodore Umar’s aircraft, were on a trip from Kano to Abuja, and Abuja to Maiduguri.
“In the first instance, I had gone to Kano on an official assignment with two of my directors, and Mohammed who was on his way back to Abuja offered us a ride in his jet. The second occasion was when I was going to see my sick mother in Maiduguri.
“These, for me, were harmless gestures as we were both members of the presidential investigative committee on arms procurement. At the time I had no knowledge that he was under investigation for any alleged crimes.
“Claims that I flew in Mohammed’s jet to Maiduguri in the company of the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Nnamdi Okonkwo, is false.
“I have never flown in a private aircraft with any managing director of any bank let alone one that was under investigation by my agency. I have no personal relationship whatsoever with him.”
Meanwhile, there were indications that some Senators opposed to Magu have initiated a plot to “suspend a former Senate Leader, Sen. Ali Ndume for allegedly backing Magu and raising some observations against the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Dino Melaye.
The observations made the Senate to ask its Ethics and Privileges Committee to investigate how the chamber came about a N300 million SUV and the row over Melaye’s graduation from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
A reliable source said: “The anti-Magu Senators are accusing Ndume of acting a script to destabilise the Senate and they are plotting his suspension from the chamber.
“Since the rejection of Magu, there has been cold war between those pro-EFCC chairman and those opposed. Ndume is regarded as the arrowhead of Magu’s sympathisers who are trying to fight the Senate.
“Once the Ethics and Privileges Committee submits its report, Ndume may be suspended for “subversive activities against the Senate.
“But some Senators have asked their colleagues to ‘ignore Ndume’s nuisance’ since his candidate was rejected.”
Agile Buhari Storms Sambisa Forest Former, Boko Haram Enclave
News Proof 24.3.17 No comments Edit Post
President Muhammadu Buhari will visit Sambisa Forest, the former enclave of Boko Haram on Monday to declare open the Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship, NASAC 2017.
The insurgency group, Boko Haram, who at the peak of it’s siege on the nation occupied towns in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, made the Sambisa Forest their stronghold and strategic headquarters until they were pushed out by the military on Christmas eve, last year.
The military had subsequently declared the former game reserve as a proposed site for military institution, building roads into it and kick-starting the new status of Sambisa Forest with the hosting of the annual Small Arms Competition.
The competition which starts on Monday is expected to be hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He is to be accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Alhaji Mansur Ali and Service Chiefs, Chief of Defense Staff, General Gabriel Olanisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Sadique and Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Obet Ebas.
The Chief of Training and Operations, Army, Major General David Amadu, during a press briefing on Friday in Maiduguri to kick-start the NASAC 2017 championship, said the championship would be formally declared open by the President on Monday, March 27, 2017.
He said the championship which drew to a close on Friday, March 31st has lined up a chain of activities which would include medical outreach to Bama, Konduga, and Magumeri IDPs camps, educational training for Army Education Corps in Maiduguri , security awareness meetings with the traditional rulers and distribution of relief materials to IDPs within Maiduguri and surrounding towns.
Amadu added that the championship was aimed at testing and shaping the intelligence and professional capacity of the Nigerian Army officers and soldiers as well as equipment.
Fear Grips Buhari's Minters As APC BoT Member Also Re-echoes El-Rufai Candid Letter To Buhari
News Proof 18.3.17 No comments Edit Post
Strong indications emerged last night that panic and uncertainty may have gripped some cabinet members, including ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Saturday Telegraph gathered that the panic-stricken ministers were apparently scared by the recent memo written by Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, who in a 30-page memo sent to the president last year had accused the president of surrounding himself with incompetent and inexperienced persons.
In the memo, el-Rufai, who said the President had developed a frosty relationship with the national leadership of his party-the All Progressives Congress (APC), also warned of high consequences of the President’s action on the party in 2019 general elections.
While speaking on the implication of the memo and the life span of the administration, especially with the future of some ministers, a highly dependable source, who is in the know, told this newspaper that: “Already, there is apprehension, panic and uncertainty as regards the future of these ministers since some of them are believed to have performed below standard.
“The implication also is that the fate of some of the ministers’ is uncertain and with this, there is no ruling out the fact that some of them would be shown the exit door.” Commenting further, the source added: “The President has a lot to do concerning the image of his government.” But responding to el-Rufai’s memo, the national leadership of the APC stated that it would study the memo, stressing that it was his (el- Rufai’s) legitimate views.
The APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie- Oyegun and the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, who spoke to Saturday Telegraph, said given the number of pages and the issues raised in the memo, that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party would need some time to study it. Specifically, Odigie- Oyegun, who said the party would make its comments public after studying the memo, also stated that the views of the governor were legitimate as they concerned Nigerians. He said: “We will study it publicly and comment later publicly.
We thought it was a private memo to the President but we will look at it and if we have any suggestions to make, we will make them later. It concerns Nigerians and with legitimate views, which he has expressed. “We will see how it concerns us, the party and the nation and if there is need we will comment on it subsequently.” Also, Abdullahi said: “We are just studying it and we will respond very soon.
It is a 30-page memo, therefore, we have to study it conclusively.” Similarly, a Board of Trustees member of the APC, who preferred anonymity, said President Buhari had disappointed the party members. According to him, there was nothing in El-rufai’s memo to Buhari that had not been said to him by one party member or the other.
The BoT member expressed the opinion that Buhari only used he party and its members to climb to the position of his ambition and later turned to say they were not worthy to be trusted.
Speaking to Saturday Telegraph on phone, the BoT said: “Everything said, has been said before.” When he wanted to be president, he trusted people and worked with them but now he doesn’t trust anybody, just for some few persons to be eating.
We are just luck that PDP has not sat up. “Look at the disgrace we are having in government with what is happening in the Senate with the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu and Comptroller General of Customs and Exercise, Col. Hammed Ali (rtd).
“The President was in UK for medical treatment, only the national chairman and the NWC members did not go to see him. In an ideal party it would have been the National Chairman who was supposed to be telling people what was wrong with the President and not people telling the party.”

El-Rufai's Memo Unsettles APC, Buhari In Shock, Presidency In Disarray ...What They're Planning To Fight Back'll Shock You
News Proof 18.3.17 No comments Edit Post
The Sun - Both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari remain in shock and are yet to find the appropriate words to reply Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, whose letter criticizing the President and the party for poor handling of issues of governance was leaked to the media on Thursday and has been trending since then.
In the memo, dated September 22, 2016, but which went viral Thursday, el-Rufai, a dye-in-the-wool loyalist of Buhari, noted that his warning became necessary, because his political future was intrinsically tied to that of Buhari, adding that: “poll after poll in Kaduna State, before and after the 2015 elections, clearly shows that my fate, politically and otherwise, is uncannily tied to yours. If you do well, I stand to benefit immensely. If you do not do well sir, whatever I try to do in Kaduna matters little to my present and any future political trajectory.”
“There is a perception that your ministers, some of whom are competent and willing to make real contributions, have no clear mandate, instructions and access to you. Ministers are constitutional creations, Mr. President, and it is an aberration that they are expected to report to the Chief of Staff on policy matters,” el-Rufai noted.
He also echoed the insinuation in some quarters that appointments into Buhari’s government was lopsided, in favour of a particular section of the country, saying: “There is a strong perception that your inner circle or kitchen cabinet is incapable, unproductive and sectional. The quality and the undue concentration of key appointments to the North-East and exclusion of South-East are mentioned as evidence of this.”
Shocked by the turn of events, APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, said that the memo from el-Rufai to the President needed to be studied, stressing that the national leadership of the party would study it even though he described it as the governor’s legitimate views.
Chief Odigie-Oyegun and the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, who reacted to the bomshell, stated that given the number of pages and the issues raised, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party would need some time to study it.
Assuring that the party would make its comments public after studying the memo, the ruling party also stated that the legitimate views of the governor had turned out to be of concern to Nigerians.
In his words: “We will study it and comment later publicly. We thought it was a private memo to the President, but we will look at it and if we have any suggestions to make, we will make them later. It concerns Nigerians and his legitimate views, which he has expressed. We will see how it concerns us, the party and the nation and if there is need, we will comment on it subsequently.”
Similarly, APC spokesperson, simply quipped: “We are just studying it and we will respond very soon. It is a 30 -page memo, therefore we have to study it conclusively.”
Kaduna based lawyer, Mr. Wahab Page, said the Kaduna State governor, exhibited rare courage in the face of sycophancy by writing the letter to President Buhari over the inability of the ruling party to manage expectation of Nigerians after two years in office.
This was even as the governor’s aides yesterday kept mute over the issue, and completely refused to say a word about the letter. When Saturday Sun contacted El-rufai’s spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, through text message and phone calls, there was pin drop silence. He did not pick his calls or reply the text messages.
Ditto the Special Adviser on political matters and inter-governmental affairs, Honourable Uba Sani.
Attempts to get presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, to respond to the issues raised in the letter did not yield any response as they refused to speak on the matter. A highly placed official in the presidency, however, said the President was shocked that the content of a supposed private letter to him was leaked to the media.
THE UNTOLD: How Desperate 'CABALS' Force Buhari's Return From UK Medical Vac To Sign Juicy Secret Deals To Milk Nigeria Dry - Brimah
News Proof 17.3.17 No comments Edit Post
A social commentator, Dr Peregrino Brimah, has claimed that a cabal in the presidency forced President Muhammadu Buhari back from his medical vacation in London to sign away Nigeria into their coffers.
He said this while decrying the mystery surrounding the health challenges of the President.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari returned to the Nigeria late last week after spending over 49 days in the UK and has since resumed back to work.
Brimah told newsmen in Abuja, “President Muhammadu Buhari is not well. It is impossible to deny how severely emaciated, weak and discombobulated he has appeared since returning to Nigeria.
“Buhari is clearly unable to fulfill the requirements of his office. The question is why the cabal bought him over, seeing how thin and weak he is.
“The media had severally reported that the cabal had been trying hard to bundle Buhari over against medical advice. Finally they succeeded in bringing him down, giving him immense stress, potentially worsening his condition and putting his life at greater risk.
“No one will bring his father or friend over, looking as Buhari does and stress him as they are. These cabal are extraordinarily wicked.
“There is clear evidence the cabal are hurrying to use the exhausted and physically stressed president to sign themselves juicy deals and sign off Nigeria’s assets and oil endowment to themselves and their cronies at the expense of Buhari’s health and the nation’s progress.
“If there is a time Nigeria needs Saraki the most, perhaps this is the time. Fortune and resistance have made and kept publicly indicted, embattled Saraki as Nigeria’s Senate president.
“It is only the National assembly that can rescue Buhari from these predators and assist him to return to the United Kingdom as soon as possible to receive the health care and rest he deserves, protected from a greedy, insensitive exploitative cabal.
“Nigeria is in grave risk as the cabal hurry to manipulate an indisposed, frail Buhari to sign away on documents he is unable to decipher.
“The Senate is urged to assist Buhari and Nigeria by ensuring Buhari is protected from the mischievous, corrupt plots and relieved of the daunting task of manning the nation and allowed to rest and hopefully recover as medically advised
