Senator Olorunimbe Momora and the elder brother to the Ooni of Ife  Adegboyega Ogunwusi are among the prominent earlier nominees missing from the new one sent by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Senate today, News Punch has learned reliably

Mamora is believed to be a close ally of former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu.

President Muhammadu Buhari resubmitted names of non-career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate on Thursday, two months after the legislature rejected his first list.


George Oguntade, a retired Supreme Court Judge is also missing

Buhari Names Tinubu's Ally, Momora, 45 Others As Ambassadorial Designates SEE FULL LIST
President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of 46 nominees to the Senate as ambassadors.
Among the nominees are Pauline Tallen, Olorunibe Mamora and Musa Ibeto who was formerly nominated minister before his nomination was withdrawn in 2015.

Mr. Mamora, a former speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, was also a member of the Senate. He is an ally of ex-Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu.

Ms. Tallen is a former Plateau State deputy governor while Mr. Ibeto is a former Niger State deputy governor.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of 46 nominees to the Senate as ambassadors.
Among the nominees are Pauline Tallen, Olorunibe Mamora and Musa Ibeto who was formerly nominated minister before his nomination was withdrawn in 2015.

Mr. Mamora, a former speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, was also a member of the Senate. He is an ally of ex-Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu.
