Rio Olympics Victory Over Japan: Ejidike Charges Other Athletes To Emulate Dream Team
The Nigeria Pillar Of Sports, Chief Donatus Ejidike Agu, has congratulated the Dream Team for winning its first game in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games football event. He expressed his delight over the never say die attitude of the Nigerian side. According to the business mogul and sports philantropist, the Samson Siasia led boys have shown the world that as Nigerians, the nation can achieve whatever set targets.

"I am very happy that the boys did not allow their inadequate preparations to dampen their morales, "Ejidike said.

" I have always believed in the technical and tactical knowledge of the coach and his crew. And on behalf of all sports loving Nigerians, l say well done to the team. "

Continuing, he tasked the team not to rest on their oars, as more challenges lay ahead in the quest to replicate the gold winning exploits of the team in 1996.

He went on to charge other Nigerian athletes at the games to eschew rancour and bitterness in view of the showdy preparations for the games, and put up their best in the interest of the country.

"I want to implore other Nigerian athletes at the games to avoid distractions and do their best in the interest of their careers and the country, " Ejidike, who also doubles as the President of the Karate Federation of Nigeria, added.
