Alhaji Rotimi Osobemekun, the Director of the UK based Ooni Of Ife Global Outreach (OIGO) which is at the center of the coordination of the proposed visit of His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II to the United Kingdom from 12th to 26th March 2017 has assured that the Grand Finale Gala Night being put together by his organization will provide a necessary avenue for the Oodua descendants, Nigerians and Africans residing in the UK to have direct physical access to the African Foremost Monarch who will be meeting his African subjects with a view to involving them in his global Peace and Unity Project aimed at strengthening the co-existence among the various peoples of Africa.
According to Mr Osobemekun through a press release on Monday, culture is the totality of learned, socially transmitted customs, knowledge, material objects and behaviour. He urged other African leaders to emulate Ooni Ogunwusi who does not live any stone unturned when it comes to promotion of African culture believed to be the best in the world.
In the same development, the Ooni who is the Spiritual Leader of the Yoruba race has described his invitation as Keynote Speaker and Special Guest at this year's Commonwealth Africa Summit and Oxford University, British Museum and the Memorial Gate to honour Africans who died during the 2nd world war as a deserved honour for the African Monarchy system which he promised to use as a great opportunity to touch on the issues concerning peace, unity and culture of the African people.
The Globally known as Africa's King of peace and unity said this in an interview at his ILE OODUA palace, Ile-Ife in Nigeria where he also said
"Am happy to announce to the Yoruba and Black community worldwide that I will be coming to the UK on a 2week visit to meet various Yoruba stakeholders to further promote our heritage, culture and tradition.
This will most importantly solidify the peace movement that is being preached in Nigeria and the world that all of us should together work for the greatness of Africa and bless the mankind".Ooni said.
He added "meet me on Friday 24th March 2017 at Arora Hall of Intercontinental hotel , London where I will be meeting all descendants of Oduduwa and Black race" Ooni Ogunwusi added.
