SHOCKER: Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Named As SECRET SPONSOR Of The Niger Delta Avengers

SHOCKER: Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Named As SECRET SPONSOR Of The Niger Delta Avengers

TaShawn, a wife to Bolaino Akwenuke (a warlord/close associate of Tompolo) visited Warri, Delta state, last December with intentions to do mission work in villages affected by the spills. TaShawn spent four months there and was unable to do anything due to high crime in the areas.

Recently, she speaks with Bolaino Akwenuke on the current situation in the oil-rich region, which has been constantly suffering from the attacks of the militants.

Mr Akwenuke denied that former Niger Delta warlord Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, is supporting the activities of the militants. Instead, he claimed that the sponsor of the Niger Delta Avengers is Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. Akwenuke also speaks about the role of Pastor Ayo in the Dasukigate and government of Muhammadu Buhari

In life, you never know who you will meet. I say this while reflecting upon my decision to visit Nigeria last December 2015. I would have never imagined I would stumble into a man who is part of a situation that can impact so many lives in a negative or positive way depending on how this story plays out. When I arrived at the airport In Lagos last year I was escorted by the kindest man I had ever met. My travel itinerary contained plans of travel to Warri and then to visit rivers

area of Delta State to help victims affected by the oil spills. We made it Warri but we never reached the rivers area due to high crime, military action and oil pipeline and facility bombings.

At the time the incidents were being blamed on Tompolo; I know this because while there I became interested in Nigerian news and we would read the local papers daily. What I did not know is the extent of involvement my host played in the situation. Nor did I know that his involvement would lead to my own.

Fast forwarding to today and here we are: bombings still occurring in the delta region, Tompolo still being framed, and me assisting Akwenuke Bolaino Marho, the nice man who met me at the airport in Lagos December 2015, to tell his story of involvement; not only how he is involved but also to disclose the real culprit behind the Shell and Chevron Texaco oil facility bombings.

In one of the most recent conversations that I and Bolaino have had he mentioned that tribal tension had been on the rise and if things continued than his tribe the Urhobo and the Ijaw tribe, for which Tompolo belongs to may fight each other. As I asked him why the conversation proceeded and this is what ensued:

TaShawn: So why will your tribe (Urhobo) fight the Ijaws?

Bolaino: They are trying to frame me up, I will not fold my hands and allow people kill Americans and blame it on my organization. The only thing that will solve all this is if that pastor is arrested. Ijaw and Urhobo people are killing each other more each day in the villages, and the man who is responsible for this is going out to party.

TaShawn: Who is this man you speak of?

Bolaino: The man is the devil incarnate himself. He succeeded in making the Itsekiri and Ijaw fight endlessly in delta state many years ago. He succeeded then and he is succeeding again. This time around the death rate from a tribal war between Urhobo and Ijaw going the way it is already will be devastating. My parents’ house will be burnt to ashes and all houses in the area.

As it is now, there is already a refugee crises as Ijaw people are moving out of my area in Udu which is an Urhobo community. Some are being harassed and assaulted, and Tompolo has told me that if all this should continue we will fight each other.

TaShawn Do you want to fight Tompolo?

Bolaino: No I do not want to fight, I want peace.

TaShawn: Have you told anyone else about this?

Bolaino: I have been telling everyone for the past few weeks how they want to give me a name that is not my own. From the FBI, CIA, to the State Department. My country, my Senator, my ministers, etc. but they are acting like imbeciles, as if they don’t know A from B. They are forcing my hands. I have called the Nigerian Army. DSS. All of them. I have called the minsters I know. They pick the call and pretend to listen, and tell me they will do something about it but all the while, things are escalating.

TaShawn: How has the situation escalated and you never mentioned the Pastor̢۪s name?

Bolaino: His name is Ayo Oristsejafor. He is now moving his guns and weapons from his church to Urhobo communities to fuel tribal war. They plan on blowing up a Chevron facility and putting the blame on me and my movement (MFPND). That is why I had to go to the creeks this period to plan for this. I have written about this man, there are a lot of things he has done, if there is a Satan that is who he is.

TaShawn: So why are you telling me and how do you expect these agencies to help?

Bolaino: I want you to expose this man. It is the only way to end this situation. There is evidence to put him in prison, but Nigerian people are scared of him, because he is a pastor. If you can help to expose him everything will be over.. the militancy in the region, etc.

TaShawn: What kind of evidence do you have and are you sure it will stick to him?

Bolaino: I can tell you everything, if you agree to help and are willing to listen. You will need to write all of this down.

TaShawn: Alright I will do what I can to help and am ready to listen…

Bolaino: Ok, firstly, Pastor Ayo is the Chief sponsor of the militant group The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA)

TaShawn Are you are saying that Tompolo is not the one giving the NDA orders?

Bolaino: That is exactly what am saying. He (Pastor Ayo) sponsors them by giving weapons and ammunition. He gives them targets to bomb in the Niger Delta.

TaShawn:Â Now Bolaino how can you allege that a Pastor is the sponsor of such a deadly group. What proof do you have of this allegation?

Bolaino: Yes we have very strong proof of his involvement in the bombings of the Niger Delta. But we will only show the evidence to incorruptible government lawyers and we are ready to stand in a competent court of law to defend our allegations. I assure you we have corroborative evidence against this man and the media can attest to its truthfulness. I want to discuss this evidence with men and women of the press.

TaShawn:Â Ok, what exact evidence do you have on the Pastor?

Bolaino: First and foremost the pastor uses his private aeroplane to ferry drugs and guns from America and other parts of Europe to Nigeria. He has been caught once by the Authorities, but the corrupt government of the former president of Nigeria swept it under the rug.

TaShawn:Â Why did the former president not apprehend the Pastor at that time he was caught?

Bolaino: The plane was purchased with money from the Government scams involving the Nigerian Army. At the time the pastor was helping with corrupt Government officials in Nigeria to launder money with his bank Eagle Flight Micro Finance Bank . They were stealing money meant for fighting insurgency in the North Eastern part of Nigeria. At the time Colonel Sambo Dasuki was in charge of ripping the army off from the inside, since he was in government at the time.

TaShawn:Â Please explain more in depth how these men, Dasuki and Ayo operated inside the scandal?

Bolaino: They were supposed to buy aeroplanes, weapons, and ammunition for the Nigerian Army fighting Boko Haram, but these monies were never spent on the things that were needed to be purchased.

TaShawn: Is this a factor of why Boko haram is still at large in Northern/ Northeast Nigeria presently?

Bolaino: Yes, as a result, Boko haram invaded the Northeast and Nigerian army men were running away from the battle field because they were not well equipped enough and they became mutinous.

TaShawn:Â Is that the only evidence you have?

Bolaino: No, we have more, We have evidence that he was caught once more working with Hezbollah organization in Nigeria. They were helping him to buy weapons in South Africa when his plane was caught with over 9 million dollars. When they questioned him as to what he intended to do with that large sum of money the response was that he wanted to buy arms and ammunition from a South African defense contraction company. After the claims were investigated they were found to be false. This lead us to believe that he was preparing for secession in Nigeria if the ruling party at the time lost. Prior to that time he and others at large had tried to assassinate Mr. Muhamadu Buhari, in a twin car bomb attack in Kaduna. Fortunately, Buhari survived.

TaShawn:Â Bolaino how did you come to learn all this information?

Bolaino: The pastor told us in an informal gathering of warlords that period that they did it because they did not want Buhari to survive; they knew that if they allowed him to contest in the election they would loose and he would win. Afterwards, the pastor came up with the “BuhariBokoHaramOp”. See at the time he was the leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria  (CAN) so he had a cult following and he still does to this day.

TaShawn: What do you mean by “he had a cult following” and exactly how did the pastor use his following to further his agenda?

Bolaino: I mean he had a mass following of pastors and their members that would do as he said with no questions asked. He started telling his pastors and their members in churches all over Nigeria that Buhari is a terrorist. That Buhari planned to Islamize Nigeria if he won.

TaShawn: Since you say “we” a lot I am assuming there are witnesses other than yourself that can attest to this information you are sharing with me today?

Bolaino: Yes, we have numerous witnesses to this scandal. Myself being one of course. But Pastor Ayo and his followers did this for long, even until this day that propaganda still thrives on, hence the current disposition of my fellow warlords to Buhari. As they still honestly believe that Buhari is the sponsor of the Boko Haram. They don̢۪t know any better otherwise. But as God would have it everything they did in trying to kill Buhari or spoil his image was in vein.

At the time of the past election, it has to be mentioned that the pastor was campaigning for PDP which is the party of the former president.

TaShawn: Ok, so to back track a little you mentioned you are a warlord, but that you currently want peace; are you saying that some warlords in Nigeria are fighting for peace?

Bolaino: Yes, I am a warlord, and once again yes I and other warlords want peace to reign throughout Nigeria, as there is no reason to fight. The problem is corruption and greed. To add to my earlier information, we received word of Ayo̢۪s involvement in the assassination attempt on Buhari in 2014 by a former Hezbollah operative we caught at sea after the act. He confessed to it before he died. That was when we started to connect the dots between him and the Hezbollah network in Delta state. After his candidate lost he sent a mole into the APC (opposing political party) in the person of Chief Ayiri Emami

TaShawn: Who is this Chief Ayiri, what is his background and why did Pastor Ayo choose him as a mole?

Bolaino: Ayiri is known in Warri as a popular assassin and ritualist, so he was welcomed into the APC. Ayiri made sure to enter the APC two days after it was announced that his former party the PDP had lost the election. The APC being a party of Northern extraction did not fully understand the workings of the Niger Delta Politicians/ warlords. So it was from here on that the Niger Delta agitation was hijacked by Pastor Ayo and his cohorts. This is where everything started, this is where the story is today.

TaShawn: And what of Tompolo and how are you so deeply involved and knowledgable of all this information that no one else will speak of ?

Bolaino: Tompolo is a good man, a man that I owe immense gratitude to. He is the one that inspired me to join the Niger Delta struggle for resource control. He was always helping the poor and making them millionaires over night. It was strange because no one else in the region had ever done anything like it before. Although he was an outlaw when I first met him, he was given amnesty and I was not, so I began working with pastor Ayo and Ayiri.

TaShawn: Ayiri, Ayo, Tompolo and You are Warlords? Any other names I should know of that pertain to this story?

Bolaino: Ayiri is a warlord for all the Itsekiri people of Delta State. You have to also know that Pastor Ayo is also of the Itsekiri tribe, with the former Governors of the Delta State. Chief Ibori who was the first democratic governor of Delta state is half Urhobo and half Itsekiri. It was through his cousin Governor Uduaghan who is the immediate past governor of Delta state; he is also Itsekiri, and he is also the brains behind the whole NDA operation. He does the planning, strategizing etc. He is a brilliant man but he only uses his brilliance for evil. He is the evil genius behind all this and he is also the one who set Ibori up. Ibori is currently serving jail time in the UK. Ibori, his wife Nkoyo, and his sisters and lawyers are all serving time in the UK. They were all set up by the same people who are about to set me and Tompollo up. So I started working with Pastor Ayo.

TaShawn:Â Why is Ibori in jail?

Bolaino: There are newspaper articles to corroborate what I am saying. These things are public knowledge, well not all but some. They are deceiving the Deltans. Did you not hear of the Monseca law firm scandal? That indicted many prominent men and women of the world for tax evasion and financial crimes. Ibori is highly implicated in that scandal, as his name was released in the leaks.. Google it. The british Government intends on leveling new fresh charges against him.

TaShawn: Alright, now please tell me what you want the media and press to do? Especially the American press…

Bolaino: I have gone to British Media many times. They know all this but are afraid to do anything. Many people only hear my name but they do no know my face. I need to put a face to my name for the sake of peace to reign. I want you and others to take this issue very seriously, please. We want these things to be published everywhere in news in the US because what is happening now concerns them a lot. It is common knowledge that American and British companies like Shell and Texaco operate in Delta State. The Niger Delta Avengers have been blowing up Shell facilities, but they have not been blowing up much of Texaco facilities.

TaShawn: Do you know why it’s mostly the Shell facilities being bombed?

Bolaino: Good question, yes I do. Shell operates in the Ijaw part of the Delta State, namely the Shell oil exporting tank at Forcados, In Ogulagha Kingdom. While Chevron Texaco is located in the Itsekiri part of Delta State. Texaco has an oil exporting tank farm at Ugboroda in Warri Southwest Escravos of Delta state.

TaShawn: Are you going to get to how this all escalates into Tribal conflict and future war?

Bolaino: Yes, that is where I am going to. You have to know that for many decades the Ijaws and Itsekiris have been fighting tribal war in the Delta State for long. The fight is usually on and off, and when they fight they burn down everywhere in Warri. The reason we moved to the area (my family and I) we are currently staying is because of the tribal fighting in that part of Warri we used to stay. They were always burning down houses and the house we were staying in Ogborikoko at the time was owned by an Ijaw man.

So we were at risk of our house being burnt by the Itsekiris at any time. So after the former president lost the election and Ayiri switched into the APC just two days after his former party lost the election it was assumed that Ayiri had betrayed them at the federal government level of the PDP.

TaShawn: So who are the Urhobo/ Isoko preparing to fight presently?

Bolaino: Currently the Ijaws. Pastor Ayo is giving us all the weapons we need to fight.

TaShawn: So why aren̢۪t you happy about this, why tell me to expose the man who is helping you?

Bolaino: He is a bad man. The reason I am angry is because he tried to kill me when I refused. If not that I am a strong man, a man of the spirits then I would be dead by now and my son would be fatherless for sure, but God Disgraced him.

TaShawn: Why are they fighting?

Bolaino: They are fighting because the pastor set us up to fight and gave the order.

TaShawn: So In Nigeria one must fight when a Pastor gives the order, because he is a warlord who hands them out weapons ?

Bolaino: Yes Jesus is God in Nigeria, anything church if you oppose it they will kill you. Do you know how many thousands of people pastors have killed in Delta State? You don̢۪t. They sent people to my house. My father and mother have relocated to other regions. Right now he is distributing Guns out to people under his boy Ayiri and others at large. He is the one (The pastor Ayo) who told the King of Aladja and Urhobo Community that God revealed to him that if he does not tell his fellow Urhobo Kings to drive out Ijaws from Urhobo land that the Ijaws will take over all of Urhobo land in the next year 2017 with the Biafrans. The Biafrans have vowed to tear Nigeria apart by January next year to fulfil America̢۪s prediction of Nigeria breaking into pieces in 2017.

TaShawn: Do you know why he (Pastor Ayo) is doing all this?

Bolaino: He is doing all this to escape prison. Many of the people he shared federal government money with meant to fight Boko Haram, are currently in prison. They are mentioning his name in statements, and soon he will be indicted. So he is doing this in order to escape being arrested. This is what he told me before trying to kill me. He tried to kill me in his church, this is where we hold meetings and that is also where he stores the weapons for the NDA. Tompollo and I were preparing to submit all our weapons to the government, but our hands are being forced to fight one another; if this pastor is caught the bloodshed will cease.

Tompolo's Father Burial Ceremony Turns Bloody As 4 Die
At least four lives were lost on Friday, to the funeral rites of late Chief Thomas Ekpemupolo, father of on-the-run former militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, a.k.a Tompolo, Nigerian Tribune report on Saturday

According to a report, the deceased, it was gathered, died in a boat mishap while on their way to Kurutie in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State for the funeral.

The victims were said to have hardly taken off from the Miller Waterside, Warri, on their way to the venue when the speedboat they boarded allegedly capsized.

A source from a Gbaramatu community, while corroborating the incident to journalists, said: “We were already at the funeral celebrating Chief Thomas Ekpemupolo when we got news of the accident.

“Initially, we were told only two persons had died. Further details later revealed that about four persons, three females including one Faith (surname withheld) from Ogulagha, another female from Kurutie and a man apparently from the Northern part of the country, lost their lives in the mishap.

The Hausa man, I gathered, was actually not an invited dignitary, but someone who was conveying some wares to trade at the funeral ground.”

It will be recalled that the funeral rites for late Chief Ekpemupolo began on Friday with the internment holding Sunday.

Tompolo's Father Tortured By The Army Dies
The father of ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo, Mr, Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo is dead.

The 84-year old had one of his limbs amputated in July after he was allegedly brutalized by soldiers in Kurutie, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.

Pa Thomas “died in the early hours of Wednesday at Lily Hospital in Warri South local government area, Warri.”

Until his death, he was the Tunteriwei of Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South-West local government area, with traditional headquarters in Oporoza.

Reacting, the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, said that it received the demise with shock.

Its spokesperson, Eric Omare, stated that “The death is unfortunate and painful, especially considering the fact that he died suffering from the injuries sustained while running from military rampage on Kurutie community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, early this year.

“Indeed, Chief Ekpemupolo is a victim of military unlawful invasion of innocent people and communities of the Niger Delta region in the name of looking for militants. Chief Ekpemupolo has paid the supreme price for the Niger Delta people and cause.

“The IYC sympathizes with the Ekpemupolo family, the Gbaramatu Kingdom and the Ijaw nation on this untimely death. However, the struggle for the betterment of the Niger Delta people continues.”

Return Tompolo Staff of Office; N'Delta Monarchs Make Fresh 6 Conditions For peace, See List

Return Tompolo Staff of Office; N'Delta Monarchs Make Fresh 6 Conditions For peace, See List

The Niger Delta Coastal States’ monarchs yesterday gave six conditions to the Federal Government, which, they said, must be fulfilled if sustainable peace could be achieved in the region.

They urged the central government to constitute a dialogue team that would facilitate discussions with stakeholders in the Niger Delta on the way out of the current militancy in the oilrich region.

The royal fathers who made their position known when they paid a visit on the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, also demanded the release of 10 “innocent” school children arrested by the Nigerian Army on May 28 in Oporoza and the return of the Golden Sword, the symbol of authority of the Gbaramatu traditional institution.

Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, a fugitive wanted ex-militant leaders has been declared wanted by the Federal Government over some financial crime related offences had in a letter sent to President Muhammadu Buhari accused the army of theft of his staff of office as traditional chief at Gbaramatu kingdom.

The Bolowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Chief Wellington Okrika, who read out the conditions on behalf of the royal delegation, listed other conditions to include the return of the three traditional council speed boats in custody of the Nigerian Army; the cessation of hostilities said to have been perpetrated by the military in the Niger Delta region, as well as the re-opening of the Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State for the 2016 /2017 academic session.

Okrika gave assurance that the monarchs would continue to support every effort that would help restore peace and sanity to the region. In response to their demands, Kachikwu commended the monarchs for the visit, stressing that the restoration of peace in the region was imperative. He said the ceasefire announced by the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) was a welcome development, adding that every effort must be made to sustain it.

The minister said that it was unfortunate that after the declaration of ceasefire, a pipeline was vandalised in Nembe community, which led to the loss of about 150 barrels of oil and a huge quantity of gas. “This inability to stay steadfast creates military intervention because government cannot sit down and watch oil production go down.

The president has shown a lot of patience and believes that engaging the communities is the best model. You should continue to reach out to others to ensure total ceasefire because as production goes down, it affects both the federal and state governments in tackling their financial burdens,” he said.

Kachikwu disclosed that the Federal Government had spent about $40 billion dollars on the Niger Delta region in the last 10 years.

According to him, there was the need for all revenue accruing to the region to be applied judiciously and royal fathers to ensure that monies were channelled properly to ensure the development of the region.

In the last one year, the federal government lost about 50 per cent of its revenue to the dwindling price of crude oil and the situation was worsened by the renewed militancy in the region. Presently, oil production has reduced from 1.6 million barrel per day to 1.4 million. This may translate to further drop in revenue by about 60 per cent.

Nigeria has lost huge revenues owing to the sustained attacks on oil and gas pipelines in the Niger Delta carried out by militant groups. Meanwhile, Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to respond positively to the outreach from the militant groups to arrive at a holistic and comprehensive solution. He said at the moment, the militant groups feel that the government is not seriously responding to their own outreach. Soyinka, who made this call yesterday in Lagos at a press conference to announce a cultural exchange initiative, tagged “The SAIL PROJECT – Lebanese-Nigerian partnership”, said he is not part of any international intervention group.

His words: “I wish to make personal appeal to the government to respond positively to the outreach from the militant groups; that is a request which have been made by some of the groups which got me into this interventionist role in the first place.

At the moment, they feel that the government of President Buhari is not seriously responding to their own outreach. “I’m not part of any international group, but I was approached personally and I have been responding personally to some of these groups just like I did when President Jonathan was in power and MEND was the umbrella group of insurgents.

“So, I make an appeal once again to the government to please respond to the efforts of these militant groups to arrive at a holistic and comprehensive solution, this is Wole Soyinka speaking; it is not an international group. I repeat, there is no international group in existence, but I hope one gets formed very soon and active too.”

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) and the Federal Government currently engaged in a dialogue through the oil companies and security agencies have reached far-reaching compromises, including the release of former militant leader, Henry Okah, in prison in South Africa and Charles Okah, incarcerated in Nigeria.

They also agreed that ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo , alias Tompolo, would not be harassed by government if he makes himself available as a delegate on MEND Aaron Team 2, while the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, would be released on condition that he renounces the agitation for “Biafra Republic.”

MEND in a statement by Jomo Gbomo, its spokesperson, Saturday, announced other breakthroughs in the discussions that will end the revolt in the South-South and South East regions .

However, it said the recalcitrant Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) still has opportunity to embrace peace failing which a combination of military forces and volunteers in the region, would smoke them out.

The statement read: “The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) is the only militant group from the Niger Delta region who are presently engaged in a dialogue with the Federal Government of Nigeria – through oil companies and security agencies -with a view to resolving the current Niger Delta crisis.”

“Thus far, the deliberations have been fruitful, various concessions and guarantees have already been secured. Some of which include, but are not limited to: Release of Henry Okah, Charles Okah and Obi Nwabueze; Review of the life sentence handed to Mr. Edmund Ebiware based on a proposal put forward by the Aaron Team representative for Abia and Imo states, Senator Adolphus Wabara.

“Also, conditional release of IPOB leader, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and others if they renounce their agitation for a “Biafra Republic,” the group said.

Furthermore, MEND said they agreed: “That Mr. Government Ekpemupolo shall not be arrested, harassed and/or intimidated whenever he makes himself available as a delegate of the MEND Aaron Team.”

It added: “That international arbitrator and conflict negotiator, American Dr. Judith Asuni shall be accepted as the representative of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) on the MEND Aaron Team; that the criminal charges against Urhobo freedom fighter, Mr. Kelvin Prosper Oniarah shall be reviewed.

“That the life sentence which was handed to seven soldiers in 2008, who actively supported the Niger Delta struggle be reviewed under the Presidential Amnesty Programme. The affected persons are: Suleiman Alabi Akubo, Major. Mathias Peter, SGT, Alexander Davou, L.Cpl., Moses Nwaigwe, L.Cpl., Nnandi Anene, L.Cpl. Taatihi Emmanuel, L.Cpl and Caleb Bawa, PTE,” it said.

“However, one of the most immediate and urgent fallout of the ongoing dialogue is the imperative for the Federal Government and MEND to jointly and separately take proactive steps to rescue and secure the region. This is in the event that the recalcitrant Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) continuing on its senseless and politically-motivated path of attacks on the country’s oil assets,” it noted.

MEND asserted: “To this end, both parties agreed that the Special Forces of the Nigerian Army should commence the purely routine but strategic military exercise code-named “Operation Crocodile Tears”; while MEND would commence a meet-the Government-Actors-and-People tour of the Niger Delta region code-named “Operation Moses”.

Coward Tompolo Writes Buhari From Hideout Again, Reveals Shocking Army Brutality In Niger Delta

Coward Tompolo Writes Buhari From Hideout Again, Reveals Shocking Army Brutality In Niger Delta

A former militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise known as Tompolo, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to stop harassment of his family members and relations allegedly by the military and other security agencies.

Tompolo, in a letter addressed to the president on Friday, in Abuja, said that he had endured attacks on his immediate family, associates and aides following the decision of the army and other security agencies to launch a manhunt for him.

The ‘retired’ militant said that he was alarmed recently when the military raided Kurutie town in the Niger Delta in search of his 84-year-old father who, he said, had his leg amputated after being brutalised.

He equally narrated how other persons, including students writing their final examinations, were brutalised in the course of the search for him.

“We managed to rescue him, took him to Warri and hospitalised him. Sadly, one of his lower limbs was amputated two weeks ago. From the doctors’ report, it will be a miracle if he survives this incident. Is this 84 years old man also a member of the Niger Delta Avengers that he was brutalised to the point of death? Will Your Excellency accept it in good faith if this was done to your father or someone of this age in your family?

“I have not heard of anyone that was treated like this even in the volatile north-eastern part of the country,” Tompolo wrote.

He insisted that his case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would not drag him into violence, as according to him, he has a good case against the anti-graft commission.

“I have said it on many occasions that the issue I am having with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will not lead me into violence or make me resort to destruction of pipelines and other oil facilities, because I have a good case,” he said.

He also accused the government of using some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intimidate his family members and aides, adding that he was in a better position to help the country realise its objectives in the Niger Delta than many of those allegedly being used to “persecute” him.

“The latest victims of this unwarranted, misdirected and wicked act are Hon. Simeon Bebenimibo, a member of the Delta State Waterways and Land Security Committee and a driver of one of my aides, Mr Ebipade Kari, who was on an errand with a little baby. The baby was thrown away from the vehicle, as the driver was beaten to pulp by your men, as he was asked the whereabouts of his boss.

“That was not all. The military men stormed the house of one of my younger brothers and harassed his pregnant wife with guns pointed at her. This has led to complications because of the closeness to her full time of delivery. The duo who were arrested are presently in the custody of the Nigerian Army, Effurun.

“Before this incident, the navy went to the apartment of another of my aides and picked up his heavily pregnant wife as he was out of town and kept her for 24 hours in the navy base before releasing her. The mode of operation is that the military command usually decorates associates of Ayiri Emami and Michael Johnny with military uniforms and they go from door to door with a long list of names and addresses of my family members and associates with the intention of arresting them.”

In the letter titled: “The Continuous Harassment of My Family Members and Close Associates by Security Agents and Overzealous APC Members is Worrisome,” Tompolo said this might be his last open letter to Buhari on this matter.

“Your Excellency, sir, it could be recalled that this was how the military went to Oporoza town on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at about 2.00 a.m. and held the community hostage for one week. During that midnight invasion, the military carted away valuables worth several millions of naira, desecrated worship centres and took away the symbol of authority of the Gbaramatu people from the Egbesu shrine, as well as picked up 10 innocent students and palace staff, most of whom are orphans preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

“Up till now, their whereabouts are unknown. That same day, the military went to Kurutie town in search of my 84 years old father and brutalised him. We managed to rescue him to Warri and hospitalised him. Sadly, one of his lower limbs was amputated two weeks ago. From the doctors’ report, it will be a miracle if he survives this incident.

“Is this 84 years old man also a member of the Niger Delta Avengers that he was brutalised to the point of death? Will Your Excellency accept this in good faith if this was done to your father or someone of this age in your family? I have not heard of anyone that was treated like this even in the volatile north-eastern part of the country.

“I have said it on many occasions that the issue I am having with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will not lead [me] into violence or [make me] resort to destruction of pipelines and other oil facilities, because I have a good case.

“Your Excellency, sir, I have been wondering, since the beginning of my travail at your instance and I wish to ask whether this is part of the fight against corruption in Nigeria. Or was it because I supported my kinsman, former President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election? I thought everyone in Nigeria had the liberty to support whomever he or she deemed fit in an election. And as Dr Jonathan bravely accepted the outcome of the election, which brought you in as president of Nigeria today, I thought you will heal wounds as the father of the nation. And it was on this premise that I visited you immediately after your swearing-in ceremony to pledge my loyalty and readiness to work with your administration.

“I am yet to be told the reason for all these shenanigans exhibited by your security agencies and party members (Ayiri Emami and Michael Johnny). I really want to know whether this Macarbre dance is being declared by you or it is out of their volition they perpetrate this high level of hatred on my person and close associates. It has really gotten to a worrisome dimension as the situation is deteriorating by the day.

“Your Excellency, sir, I only contributed to the development of the Nigerian Maritime University. I only agreed to sell my property, Mieka International Diving School structures (19 gigantic buildings of various sizes on 12 hectares of reclaimed land), for the quick and flawless takeoff of the university. And it all went through due process. I never knew my goodwill and patriotism would lead me to where I am now.

“I have this burning desire to attract developmental strides to this difficult terrain, as it is the only thing for the people of the Niger Delta, particularly the coastal areas, to continue to have faith in Nigeria as the area has been neglected for so long a time.

“Your Excellency sir, it is instructive to state that you need me to drive this your change agenda in the Niger Delta region as I am ever passionate to improve the living condition of the people of the region.

“The truth of the matter is that I have been treated unfairly by you sir. After all these hallubalo about the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, in which I was accused of some wrong doing, you are yet to send emissaries to Okerenkoko (permanent site) and Kurutie( temporary site) of the University to ascertain the level of things on ground.

“Your Excellency sir, you are being respected today because of your integrity and sincerity of purpose; therefore, you need to consciously investigate the issues surrounding the establishment of the university. If you can send some of your trusted men to visit the sites of the university and request for documents from the Federal Ministries of Transportation and Land and Survey, then you would have succeeded in unravelling the truth behind this university controversy.

“Your Excellency would have investigated this issue of whether 13 billion naira was used to purchase a land for the Maritime University since assumption of office, owing to the fact that the entire country is your constituency.

“As it stands now, you are not abreast with things happening in this part of the country, perhaps you are only abreast with crude oil exploration activities in the Niger Delta region. I do not need to remind Your Excellency that the primary duty of any government is to seek after the welfare and security of the citizenry. Unfortunately, the people of the Niger Delta region, particularly the coastal people, are relegated to the background despite the huge revenue contribution from the area to the coffers of the country.

“Mr President, sir, I have written you several open letters. I have stated my position clearly each time I write you. This may be my last open letter to you. I believe the truth will come to stay one day. You need to do the right thing by uniting the entire country. Be wary of bogus informants. Always try as much as possible to hear every side of issues that are brought before you. By this, you will always know those who sincerely love you.”

Panic has rented the air in Lagos as a plot to bomb the popular and populous Computer Village in Ikeja Area of Lagos State has been uncovered by the men of Nigeria secret police, the DSS.

The Department of State Security DSS released a statement yesterday stating that it has arrested a member of ‎the Indigenous People of Biafra, Onwudiwe Chidiebere a graduate of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering who is allegedly working with  other members of the IPOB and some foreigners to plan a bomb attack on Nigeria’s largest computer market, the Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos.‎

The statement added that two suspected members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) linked to Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) have also been arrested for planning the assassination of a Kaduna-based military officer and the bombing of oil and gas pipelines.
The statement reads:

“On 7th June, 2016, one Kabiru SHUAIBU, the ring-leader of a kidnap gang, comprising his accomplices namely: Haruna SALEH, Tukur SHUAIBU and Abdulmumuni ADAMUNA, were arrested by the Service along Murtala Muhhamad Bridge, along Lokoja-Abuja Highway, in Lokoja, Kogi State. The suspects were part of a criminal gang which has been terrorizing innocent citizens in the Northern region of the Federation.

During their arrest, a locally-made pistol, seven cartridges, 14 mobile phones and N615,000 were recovered on them. On 8th June, 2016, one Reuben Akinbehinje aka Chairman, the ring-leader of a notorious kidnap syndicate, was arrested by this Service in Akure, Ondo State, along with five (5) other members of his gang namely; John Imoleayo Uche, Seun Lajuwon, Seun Iseoluwa Akintayo, Lateef Fayemi Hammed and Saheed Oyewo.

The Akinbehinje gang has been the brain behind the kidnap of two Catholic nuns in the State and other criminalities such as armed robbery, hijack and diversion of fuel tankers and cult-related activities in Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Lagos and Kwara States. Similarly, on 12th June, 2016, this Service arrested one Ifeanyi Michael Onyike, a suspected kidnap kingpin at D-line, Port Harcourt in Rivers State. Onyike was involved in the kidnap of Ebere Chinda, wife to Igo Chinda, the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi.

Further to this tactical offensive, on 25h June, 2016, in one of the North-Western States, one Sani Abdullahi, and his three accomplices, namely Rufai Tukur Abdullahi, Najeeb Abubakar and Abdullahi Ahmed, were apprehended by this Service. The group has concluded arrangements to embark on serial kidnap of high-value targets in Katsina State, before their arrest.

This gang has hitherto been terrorizing the North-Western States of Kano, Katsina, Kebbi and Zamfara. In a bid to stem the activities of vandals in the Niger Delta, this Service effected the arrest of Selky Kile TORUGHEDI, on 17th June, 2016, in Calabar, Cross River State. Toruchedi is an ex-militant and suspected member of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), and was arrested for planning to assassinate one MB.Yahaya a serving military officer. Toruchedi, who is a close associate of Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), had already conducted surveillance at the residence of Yahaya in Kaduna, preparatory to his plot when he was intercepted.

He is also fingered as a sponsor of pipeline vandalism in some States in the South-South region. Suspect is currently assisting the Service, with critical leads. In a related operation, this Service arrested one Christian Oluba aka Sensor, another suspected militant with the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). Sensorwas arrested while perfecting plans to carry out explosive attacks on critical oil and gas pipelines, including critical storage points.

Meanwhile, sequel to increasing threat posed to public peace by the activities of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), this Service arrested one Chidiebere Onwudiwe, a graduate of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering and known member of IPOB, on 22ndJune, 2016. Onwudiwe and his associates within and outside the country, were planning to carry out coordinated attacks against religious bodies/edifices, Police-Check Points and the computer village in Ikeja, Lagos State, with Improvised Explosive devices (IEDS).

The suspect was apprehended while making logistics supplies for their nefarious plan. In another development, on 19th June, 2016, at Langtang North LGA in Plateau State, this Service in liaison with the military and Police, arrested one Nanpon Sambs (aka Yabam), an illegal arms dealer. SAMBS is a member of a notorious black market arms syndicate led by one Peter Nehemia (aka Adagyo) which operates in the State. A Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launcher and circuit charger were recovered from a Toyota Highlander SUV belonging to the suspect‎".

Your Soldiers Looted My Kingdom, Carted Away My Symbol of Authority - Tompolo Writes Buhari Again

Your Soldiers Looted My Kingdom, Carted Away My Symbol of Authority - Tompolo Writes Buhari Again

Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, a former militant leader has complained to President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, that the military  looted his kingdom, Gbaramatu, committed sacrileges and looted it.

Tompolo said among the looted item is his symbol of authority carted away about a month ago  by the army from the traditional temple, where he is the chief priest and had since not returned them

The ex-militants leaders in an open letter to the President said soldiers invaded Oporoza in his absence in search of him on allegation that he was behind the bombing of oil facilities in the region. Besides the abomination, he said they also placed the traditional ruler of Gbaramatu kingdom under house arrest for one week.

Bellow is the excerpt from Tomplo's letter to Buhari Privy to News Punch:

“As I said in my previous publications, the military made away with the symbol of authority of the Gbaramatu people from the Egbesu Shrine, which I am the Chief Priest. They also made away with other valuables worth several millions of naira from the community.”

“The most annoying one is the purported arrest of 10 young promising men, most of whom are orphans, who are secondary school students sitting for the West African Senior Secondary School Examinations (WASSCE) and other palace staff, and labeled them as members of the Niger Delta Avengers.

“As I write you now, these innocent young promising men are still with your military for no reason. This is truly man’s inhumanity to man in our own country. We are presently being treated like conquered people because of crude oil,” he said He appealed to the President “to please kindly direct your army to return the looted items, including the symbol of authority, and also release those innocent young men to continue their academic programme, even though they have missed the WASSCE for this year.”

“Mr President, remember, there is no condition that is permanent. I have kept faith in this country. I have contributed in no small measure to the development of this country. It is my prayer that God Almighty should preserve me and meet you again to tell you my side of the numerous stories you have been inundated about me,” Tompolo said.

“This was how they arrested Chevron Nigeria Limited Staff on routine duty in Kokodiagbene community of Gbaramatu kingdom, and labeled them members of Niger Delta Avengers. It took spirited effort by leaders of the kingdom and other well -meaning Nigerians to convince the military, that the arrested men were not involved in pipeline destruction.”

“Mr President Sir, please permit me to quickly recall a similar incident that occurred in May, 2009, when this same military invaded several communities in Gbaramatu kingdom, under the command of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Traditional worship centres were desecrated, properties were looted and above all, the multi-billion naira ultra-modern magnificent palace of the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom was burned down, and his golden crown was stolen by the military.

“ Tompolo went on: “As peace loving people, the kingdom approached the courts and demanded compensation for the unlawful invasion and destruction of property, in which the court awarded 99 billion naira in favour of Gbaramatu kingdom. After seven years of that sad incident, the Federal Government is yet to pay the compensation.”

“This incident also led to the declaration of the Presidential Amnesty programme for peace to reign, as the government found out that military action is not the best way to address the Niger Delta question and the rest become a history in the life of those who led that invasion. I believe Mr President should learn a lesson from the 2009 military invasion and do the needful.”

“Your Excellency Sir, as they say, wonders shall never end, I am still in a great shock as the only developmental project, Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, established by the previous administration in 2014 in the coastal area of the Niger Delta region to meet the yearnings and the aspiration of the people, is yet to commence academic session. Even though all is set for University’s take off,” he said.

BOMBINGS In N'Delta: Fugitive Tompolo Speaks Again From Hideout

BOMBINGS In N'Delta: Fugitive Tompolo Speaks Again From Hideout

Embattled former militant, Government Ekpemokpolo, aka Tompolo has called on the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) to put a stop on its bombings of oil facilities in the region, and embrace the option of dialogue put forward by the Federal Government.

He stated in an open letter on Saturday, “I wish to reiterate that you guys must stop the bombing and destruction of oil facilities in the Niger Delta region now and embrace the dialogue option from the Federal Government as it is (dialogue) the only pragmatic means in resolving a crisis no matter huge and complicated such crisis is.”

Expressing support for government dialogue option, Tompolo who is still on the run, said, “I believe fervently that the Government is serious and willing to end this re-occurring crisis in the Niger Delta region. Enough is enough”.

The wanted Tompolo also reiterated his earlier claim that he is not involved in the formation or operations of the Avengers, adding that the group’s activities had only given vent to rumour peddling from those intent on implicating and profiteering from the Niger Delta crisis.

“I wish to once again write the members of the Niger Delta Avengers to embrace the Federal Government dialogue option as a way out of the brewing crisis in the Niger Delta region. As I have said before now, I do not know you and how to reach you except through the mass media, therefore it is high time you stopped the bombing and destruction of crude oil facilities in the Niger Delta region.

“One thing you guys may not be aware of is that, you have not only succeeded in militarizing the Niger Delta region now, but also succeeded in given birth to so many negotiators and political jobbers within the government circle, who are very serious rumour peddlers in the country now.

He also lamented the military invasion of Gbaramatu kingdom.

“As for the people of Gbaramatu kingdom, they have not known peace since you guys started the bombing of oil facilities as they have been harassed, intimidated, violated and invaded on daily basis by the Nigerian Military under the guise of looking for members of your group (Niger Delta Avengers) and my humble self, who they have criminally and wickedly linked to the Niger Delta Avengers.

“Presently all communities in Gbaramatu kingdom have been disserted by residents for fear of a repeat of the 2009 military invasion, which still leave the communities in shambles. Even till now, the military has not returned the symbol of authority they took away from the Egbesu Shrine and other valuables in Oporoza community during the May 28, 2016 invasion.

“It is pertinent to state that I have not heard and seen in any part of Nigeria, even the most volatile North Eastern part of Nigeria, where Boko Haram has been killing innocent people, the way and manner the Military desecrated the traditional worship centres in Gbaramatu Kingdom. This is a clear oppression and intimidation of the peace loving people of Gbaramatu Kingdom”, he said.

Free Dasuki, Unfreeze Tompolo’s Account – N'Delta Militants Give Buhari List of Conditions For Ceasefire

Free Dasuki, Unfreeze Tompolo’s Account – N'Delta Militants Give Buhari List of Conditions For Ceasefire

The joint revolutionary council of the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF), has declared ceasefire.

The group had earlier threatened to launch six missiles in the region and to also shut Nigeria’s airspace.

Declaring readiness to accept federal government’s offer of dialogue, JNDLF in a statement at the weekend listed its demands.

These are: immediate release of Sambo Dasuki, former national security adviser (NSA), reversal of the order to freeze the bank accounts of Government Ekpemupolo, better known as Tompolo, establishment of Matitime University in Okerenkoko, Delta state, among others.

JNDLF noted that “We shall continue to engage in dialogue if our demands are met. Our representatives for the dialogue, especially the governors and others will not betray our demands with the federal government. Any betrayal on their own part shall be viewed as betrayal of the entire region and we shall go after them immediately as they know our mode of operation in which they will not escape from us.

“There is no gainsaying that we made our earlier promise to launch six missiles simultaneously against some targeted areas. But this was waved aside as a result of appeals made to us through email by the federal government and some international nations to open talks with Buhari.

“We saw some genuine aspiration on the part of Buhari, who made several contacts to us to see reason with them over the issue of under-development of the region. And since he (Buhari) had set the ball rolling for a clear negotiation with us, there is no problem without solution. We have therefore declared ceasefire in order to negotiate with the government if it is a true reflection of what they have in mind to develop the Niger Delta region.”

The group said it was more interested in negotiating with the government on the basis of developing the Niger Delta rather than giving out monetary compensation.

It also demanded the implementation of the report of the 2014 national conference, and the removal of Paul Boroh, coordinator of the presidential amnesty programme.

“We are not ready to negotiate with the federal government for the sake of monetary benefit to us but how genuinely the government will develop the region is at the centre of our discussion and anything less than that we will continue our struggle without further warning to the federal government,” the statement read.

“We demand the immediate implementation of the report of the 2014 national conference report, failure of which Nigeria will forcefully break-up. Oil-polluted lands in the Niger Delta must be cleaned up, while compensation should be paid to all oil-producing communities, e.g. Chevron fire outbreak of gas explosion in Koluama, Bayelsa state and Bonga Oil Spill in 2011;

“We also demand the immediate release of the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd) and Dr. Nnamdi Kanu.

“We also want the removal of Brigadier General Paul Boroh (rtd.) as Amnesty Coordinator. He does not understand the programmes and policies of the Amnesty and does not know us to the grassroots. Hence he should be replaced with Dr. Felix Tuodolo who has been in the struggle of non-violence since 1980 and he was the designer of the amnesty programme.

“We carried out all these attacks on oil and gas pipelines in the region because of the statement made by President Buhari that he will develop those areas that gave him 95% votes during his presidential election last year. We, the Niger Delta people only gave him 5% hence we vowed that our oil money will not be used for the development of any other region”, they stated.

WANTED Tompolo's Actual Hiding Place EXPOSED; Fled To Libya Report Diversionary

WANTED Tompolo's Actual Hiding Place EXPOSED; Fled To Libya Report Diversionary

Tompolo
The fugitive wanted former commander of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo),“ is still hiding” in Oporoza community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, fresh revelation by close allies revealed

Tompolo, who was alleged to have fled Oporoza, which is the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom, to Libya by the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force (JNDLF), contrary to reports, is believed to be within the Niger Delta creeks.

The latest development came on a day it emerged that President Muhammadu Buhari’s aborted trip to Ogoniland, Rivers State was allegedly aborted by the United States owing to security concerns. Investigations last night revealed that Tompolo, who was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over alleged fraud, may have resorted to “hiding” in the creeks rather than surrender himself to the anti-graft agency.

Sources confirmed that reports making round that Tompolo may have fled the country were untrue as the former MEND leader was “still much around in the creeks.” The source said: “It is absolutely laughable and untrue to say that Tompolo has fled this country.

Where do you expect him to run to? The Tompolo I know is in the creeks and for those who know him very well, Tompolo cannot leave his people. Of course such can be scripted but not with the kind of person called Tompolo. “The Libya story to me is diversionary. He has no where to go.

He is in the creeks. Yes, security intelligence may have made it impossible for him to speak or be seen, but I can tell you he is still in town.” The source, who further explained that Tompolo loves his country, said: “Occasionally, people may sell some funny dummies just to divert people’s attention and thinking.

This does not mean that he (Tompolo) is a bad person as people may want to think or claim.” It would be recalled that the JNDLF had alleged that: “The Military can’t locate Tompolo but we have identified where he is now.” The group’s claim which came on the heels of its threat that it would test six missiles in the Niger Delta states, said: “Presently, Tompolo is in Libya and we’ll get him dead or alive for betraying us in supporting the Federal Government against us.”

It said: “Nigerian military has weak intelligence gathering mechanism hence they could not identify our modus oparandi. Nigerian military is only good in carrying AK47 to harass innocent people and raping young girls and women.” Though a close source to Tompolo laughed when contacted, he nonetheless said: “I do not know what you want to say, they should leave Tompolo alone.”

In the wake of the bombing of oil facilities, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), had issued a 72-hour ultimatum to Tompolo to withdraw his comments on the bombed 48-inch pipeline in Forcados or face severe punitive actions. Tompolo had said in a statement signed by his media adviser and consultant, Paul Bebenimibo, that he had no link with the Niger Delta Avengers, which has claimed responsibility for the bombing of the pipeline.
