The husband of a woman who delivered a baby with four legs and two genitals in Katsina State has cried out to well-meaning Nigerians for financial help to correct the abnormalities.

The confused man, Malam Hassan Ibrahim appealed to the government for financial assistance for surgery to be performed on what he described as a gift from Allah.

Already his residence at Sabon Garin Makiyawa in Magama Jibia, Katsina State is attracting much curiosity as people from far and near trooped there to catch a glimpse of the abnormal baby.

The baby was delivered by Ibrahim’s 20-year old second wife, Zainab, on March 9, 2018.

Daily Trust reports that Ibrahim and Zainab had been married for four years and already blessed with a three-year-old son, Fahad.

Zainab was reportedly accompanied by Ibrahim’s other wife, Amina, to the nearby Shema Primary Health Center when she started labour around 10pm but they were told to return home by the nurses who said it was false labour.

After getting home, later that night, labour pains again set in, necessitating a call to the neighbourhood traditional birth attendant, Malama Maimuna, who promptly came to help with the delivery around 1am.

It was when the baby was being cleaned up that the abnormalities were discovered. It was a mix of joy and confusion. Later that night, the father was called to notify him of the development.

“I was a bit shocked and confused but I realised it was a gift from Allah, the knower of all things, and I cuddled my baby and prayed,” Ibrahim said.

“In the morning, the news began to spread like wild fire and people began to troop into my house. The following day, I took her to the hospital and the doctors have now referred us to the Turai Yar’adua Children’s Hospital for medical attention,” he said.

“The child has both sexes and four legs, the two abnormal legs and a penis are on the left side of the ribs, only one of the two additional legs is moving, the second doesn’t.

“I can say it’s a girl because the longer and normal legs have a female genital at their proper place,” Ibrahim added.

When asked if his wife attended ante-natal clinic during pregnancy, Ibrahim said she did and tried to look for her ante-natal card but couldn’t find it as he said the card was deposited at the local government secretariat when he was invited for documentation by the officials.

“For now, I’m made to understand from some health officials that she may need surgery to correct the defects and was given a referral later to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to meet a consultant paediatric surgeon,” he said.

Excessive pressure from curious visitors made the family to begin to hide the child as some in-laws are not pleased with the deluge of visitors.

A copy of the referral letter made available to our reporter indicated that the baby was delivered at home and the mother is complaining of a swelling at her back.

Doctors’ findings and examination at the Turai Yar’adua Clinic stated that “the second twin was attached to the first at the sacral region to the left, swelling at the lumbo sacral region of both twins, polydactyl of the fingers.

The provisional diagnosis was said to be sarcophagus con joined twins.”

Ibrahim said he was unable to move to Kano for treatment, given the financial cost involved and pleaded for assistance from the government and kind spirited individuals to help carry out the surgery.

The rural community of Mthayisi village in South Africa is currently left in shock after a dead mother-of-five gave birth to a lifeless child on the eve of her funeral.

The Times Live reported that Nomveliso Nomasonto Mdoyi, 33, was found with a stillborn infant between her legs by funeral parlor staff 10 days after she lost her breath and died, 

The discovery was reportedly made by a staff as Mdoyi’s body was being transferred to a coffin at the Lindokuhle Funeral Parlour.

“When we took the body from the mortuary tray to her coffin we discovered that there was a newly born baby between her legs,” Lindokuhle Funeral owner Fundile Makalana told Dispatch Live.

He also added saying "We were so shocked and frightened that we did not even have time to look at the sex of the baby.

"I have been in the business for more than 20 years and I have never heard of a dead woman giving birth."

The stunned community members suspected witchcraft and even suggested they burn the dead woman and her child. But it was learned that doctors insist that it’s possible the child was born naturally to Mdoyi who was nine months pregnant at the time of her death.

Mdoyi’s mother, Mandzala Mdoyi, 76, who also was shocked by the discovery told Times Live: “First, I was devastated by the untimely death of my daughter and now I got the shock of my life to learn that she has given birth while she had been dead for 10 days. What is that? God please come and intervene.”

Mr Michael Ibironke, the occupant of one of the houses where the trees are located, said what happened remained a mystery to him.

Ibironke, who said he has been living in the house for more than 17 years, said the Moringa trees were planted in 2014.

He told our correspondent that since the discovery, thousands of people of different faith have visited to see the trees, offer prayers and appreciate the work of God.

“On December 26, 2016, we celebrated Christmas party in my compound and did not discover anything.

“But on the Jan. 2, while I was doing my morning exercise with my wife, she called my attention to it. My wife was the one that discovered it.

“We are not a Muslim, so we called a Muslim brother (Mr Ajibade) to explain the strange thing. We also invited an Imam, who also confirmed it.

“Over 10,000 people of different faith have visited my house since Jan. 2. On Thursday at about 12 noon, my son counted over 3,000 people.

“We are not complaining about the disturbance, because it will mean we do not value the work of God.

“We are happy about it, people are greeting and praying for us.

“What happened has not affected our faith as Christian. People are celebrating and praising God. It is a mystery to everyone.

“We have been receiving people from different places Mushin, Ifo, Owode-Yewa and even from Omu-Aran in Kwara.

“My house has become a tourist centre. What God revealed to us is that He is the greatest, no man is equal to Him and He can reveal Himself in anyway,” he said.

A pastor, Olumide Olagbegi, also said that God was revealing to the people that He is an Elvon God (He is only one).

He said it could mean so many things to a layman but believed God can come in so many ways.

A Muslim cleric, Imam Hamzat Oyeyemi, told our correspondent that the sign was of God, adding it was a sign of goodness to the family and the people.

“It is a miracle. This Arabic word appeared in a Christian house, is a sign of goodness; it is a mystery to mankind and people should be good.

“God has 99 names. The first is Allah, the name is from God, no one can share a name with God.”

Mr Michael Dada, the owner of the second house where the Arabic word appeared said the tree was planted since 2010, but shows no sign of any misery until December 2016.

“There was a bush around the house, so I called some boys to help me clear it, it was in the process that the boys saw it.

“We first discovered it on the Dec. 24, but paid no attention to it because we are Christians.”

We can’t count the number of the people that had visited this tree since the beginning of 2017.

“We invited some Muslims, they told us the name of Allah was written on it, we are Christians so we do not know the meaning.

“I don’t want to turn it to anything, anybody can come and pray as they believe, it is a mystery.

“We are not Muslim so we don’t know what to do, ” he said.

A Cleric, Alhaji Muhammed said it was a natural thing which was said in the word of God that during the end time, He will show the people signs.

“It is in the Quran that if people refuse to worship the lord to His satisfaction, He will command stones to start serving Him which is part of what happened and people should change their ways.”

Meanwhile, photographers and petty traders, especially those who sell sachet water and snacks, are making brisk business.

Weird News: Man 'Rapes' Goat To Death In Ondo

The source said, “He picked the goat from a neighbour’s house and took it into the bush. He put off his clothes and started having sex with it.

Pandemonium In Warri Cemetery Girl 'RESURRECTED' At Interment ; Family, Friend Scampered, Bolted

New Telegraph - Many people ran in different directions in Warri, Delta State yesterday when a young girl of about 15 years presumed to have died suddenly woke up as she was about to be interred at the Warri Cemetery.

The girl, whose name could not be ascertained at press time, was said to have died about 5a.m. yesterday and was wrapped in a mat and placed on top of the soak away at Warri Motor Park.

It was learnt that sympathisers made up mostly of youths saw her completely naked and presumed that she had died, wrapped her in a mat and headed for the cemetery.

“When we got to the cemetery, the workers there dug the grave for her burial. As the remains were laid into the grave and they were about covering it with sand, the deceased sneezed and jumped out of the grave and started shouting,” said a witness. 

Consequently, there was pandemonium within and outside the cemetery as scores of people thronged the cemetery to catch a glimpse of the ‘resurrected’ girl.

Sources, however, told our correspondent that the girl was immediately rushed to Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Effurun, near Warri for spiritual cleansing. 

Attempt by policemen near the cemetery to take the girl to the station was rebuffed by sympathisers who insisted that the matter did not concern the police. They said it was a spiritual issue.

Mysterious: Ghosts Invade Popular Hotel, 2 Feared Dead, 6 Unconcious

Tragedy struck yesterday at a popular brothel in Umuahia, Abia State capital, as invisible beings, suspected to be ghosts, allegedly invaded and attacked occupants, leaving two persons dead and six others unconscious. The owner of the brothel, a lady who used to live in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, before relocating to Umuahia, bought and renovated the building and established the brothel.

The manager of the brothel, a Cameroonian, is said to be among the victims of the mysterious attack and was taken to the Federal Medical Centre unconscious.

Area Commander of Central Police Station, Umuahia, Onyeke Udeviotu, visited the scene to cordon off the place, as a large crowd gathered to have a glimpse of the brothel.

The Abia State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Nta Ogbonnaya Nta, who confirmed the incident, expressed pity over what happened. According to him, ‘we recovered two corpses and six unconscious bodies from the building, . Only the doctor can confirm them dead or otherwise.”

He said the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade, visited the scene of the incident, when a concerned citizen raised the alarm and drew the attention of the police.

The PPRO said the two lifeless bodies were that of a young man and a lady, while the six others that were unconscious were men. He explained that they were picked in separate rooms and that other occupants of the about 200-room brothel had deserted the place before the police arrived. He said the police would go after the owner of the brothel, as the matter would be assigned to the State Criminal Investigation Homicide Department for proper investigation.

A resident of a building close to the brothel told Daily Sun that the brothel used to be a mud building before the owner bought it.

According to him, the woman demolished the mud house and within a short space of time, “she reconstructed it into a one storey building. It was since the building was reconstructed that we started hearing of ghosts’ attack. The first time we heard of ghosts’ attacks, most of the prostitutes packed out due to fear, while others stayed behind. Then the ghosts were said to be lifting beds occupants were lying on and hitting them on the walls.

“The second time took similar method, but this time, those who managed to speak said the occupants were slapped by invisible hands, as a result of which many of them became unconscious.”

At the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, where victims were taken, Daily Sun observed that one of those brought in unconscious was foaming in the mouth and breathing fast. Another victim, a bus driver, popularly called Obere, was seen moping and looking into space. He could not respond to conversation or questions.

Following the incident, the brothel and Federal Medical Centre became a beehive of activities for the greater part of yesterday, as a crowd surged to see the victims and the dead.

A lady seen wailing at the hospital said her husband, who was a regular caller at the brothel was missing.

Ana’s mum Milena added:  "Locals told me before I took her to hospital that we’d be better off burying her instead to take the energy from the lightning away. I’m praying she comes out okay. She can’t walk properly and the burns she suffered on her feet cause her pain. I trust in God."

Local doctors have expressed their skepticism over the treatment. Walter Gomez, who works out of a clinic in the regional capital Monteria, admitted there were a lot of ancient beliefs among the community about how to cure storm victims including burial.

"There’s no scientific proof that burying a patient who has been struck by lightning has any beneficial effects for their recover" Gomez added.

Ogun Pastor Stuck, Unconscious In Shrine

Pastor Wale Fagbere of an unnamed church has been stuck  while trying to destroy some shrines in in Ketu, a community in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

After being found transfixed in the shrine, residents of the area raised the alarm, following which custodians of the shrines came to the place.

The rites were performed following the intervention of Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Abdulaziz Adelakun, who appealed to the priests to ‘release’ him.

He said, “The command got the report at its division in Ayetoro that one Evangelist Wale Fagbere went to Ketu to destroy traditional worshippers’ shrines. After the destruction, the man became motionless and could not talk.

The owner of the pregnant goat, Kwabena Nindoo who confirmed the bizarre incident to Kasapafmonline.com stated that the Yasaa, was spotted having carnal knowledge of the goat by some residents, and fled when an alarm was raised leaving behind his bicycle.

Asked how he established that it was the young man who impregnated his goat, Mr Nindoo said, after the ‘torture’ the goat had been subjected to, he intentionally kept it in a safe place and never saw any goat coming near it until he realized that the animal had taken seed.

Mr Nindoo who was angry about the despicable act has made an official report to the Police and the Chief of the area about the matter.

Strange But True: Mysterious 18-ft-long Python Sent To Kill Lagos Couple Killed, You'll Be Shocked How It happened

The Nation - Friday, August 26, 2016 is a date that will linger in the memories of Mr. Samuel Onwuegbuchelam Igbokwe and members of his family. It was the night an 18-ft python invaded their premises at No 21, Okoye Street in Oke-Afa part of Isolo, Lagos and were only saved by the timely intervention of neighbours. But that was not until the mystery invader had swallowed two goats from a pen operated by the family.

While the family had had some unpleasant experiences with reptiles before the fateful day, they never imagined the rough encounter they had with the uninvited guest.

The family’s residence is a three-bedroom bungalow with two other rooms attached. Although the unpainted, weather-beaten building is located in an area one would consider a developed part of Lagos, it has a sub- urban ambience with patches of algae on its walls.

Between the building and the undeveloped part of the plot to the right is a pen built with Indian bamboo where the family rare goats. Beside the pen also is a poultry. The building faces a swampy, undeveloped mass of land that boasts a couple of trees and shrubs. The other sides of the building are fully or partially developed plots of land. The marshy land opposite the building is covered with green leaves that make it difficult for a stranger to realise its swampy nature.

Igbokwe continued: “Sensing danger, the python immediately vomited the two goats it had swallowed, raised its head high and got ready for a fight. It was unusual. A natural python ought not be able to vomit what it had swallowed but this one vomited the two goats. We strategised and decided to divert its attention. The person with the sharp machete stood behind it while we went to its front to draw it out. While it was facing us, the person with the sharp cutlass cut off its head.”

Asked whether the python saw what they were doing, Igbokwe said: “Yes, it did. It was coming to us. Understand that it was still within the pen. The pen is big. We used bamboo to prepare it. It was something we could see inside from the outside, but there was no way a snake that big could enter that place. It is still a mystery.

“The question now is, how did it enter? It did not destroy any part of the fence. So, having diverted its attention, the man that struck it with a machete could not kill it with one strike. It was the second machete blow that removed its head. We also cut off its tail and then brought it out.

“People may not know, but after we killed the snake, something mysterious happened in our church the next day, which was on a Sunday.

“On that Sunday, I got some people to help me clear the area. It is not as if the place was bushy, because I always try to as much as possible clear the grass around my compound. And every night, we make bonfire to drive away reptiles.

“However, since we moved in here over eight years ago, we had never seen even a small snake. So, that Sunday, I called some people to help me clear the grasses even beyond my property.

“Many would say there is possibility of big snakes since there are some bushes around my property. It is possible. But the question also arises: how did it get into the goat pen? I believe it is a mystery. A python of that large size cannot go through that bamboo. There was no damage or break whatsoever on any part of the pen to show that this was the entry point.

“Then, on Sunday when we went to the church, I didn’t go because I had called some people to clear the surrounding grasses. My wife was the one who called me and told me that there was a preacher from Calabar who said that God gave him a message to a family in Lagos and he was directed to our church.

“The church overseer initially did not allow him to preach, since he was a stranger. The preacher said he was in our church because he had a message for a family. When he mounted the pulpit during prophetic time, he asked of Samuel.

“Initially, some other people came out with our family members, but zeroed it down to us. According to him, the python was sent to kill two people in my family, a man and a woman. He said it was God that intervened.”

Asked why he believed it was not an ordinary python since there were bushes around the area with a swampy topography, Igbokwe said it was not the first time he had experienced such an attack here in Lagos.

He said: “Naturally, it is easy for people to assume such. Let us, for the purpose of this discussion, assume that it was a normal python from the swamp that came to attack and swallow the goats, how about the one that almost attacked at my wife’s shop? That was some years back at Transformer Bus Stop, Bucknor. There is no bush around the shop.

“Go there and make your investigation. That happened some years back, around 5.30 pm. It is verifiable. I am giving the exact location so that people can do their independent verification. Where did that python come from?”

The police prose­cutor, Monica Ikebulo told the court that the accused shot at a bush pig which later trans­formed into his friend.

She said the ac­cused committed the offence on September 9 at Iwaraji Camp via Efon Alaaye in Efon Alaaye -Ekiti.

According to her, the accused on the said date with eight of his colleagues now at large went for group hunting and unlawful­ly shot his friend, Igin­la Oluwashina, with his gun.

She said the offence contravened Section 319 of the Criminal Code, Cap C 16, Laws of Ekiti State. 2012. No plea was taken.

BREAKING: American Hangs Self To Death In Lagos Hotel

Charles Carlson, An American has been found dead hanging in a Lagos hotel room on Tuesday, News Punch has reliably learnt

According to The Eagle Online, Carlson’s room at Ellyx Vile Hotel at 8, African Line, Lekki Phase 1, was broken open after the American failed to come for his breakfast and did not pick calls to both his mobile number and the hotel intercom.

Police sources said the Manager of Ellyx Vile Hotel, Vincent Owunke, reported the development to the police.

The management of the hotel, sources told The Eagle Online, became bothered when Carlson, 57, did not pick his calls or come down for breakfast.

The management then called his business partner to report the development.

On the arrival of the business partner, the door to the room was forced open, with Carlson found motionless in the room.

He was found to have “hung himself with a rope close to door”

Detectives from Maroko Division of the Lagos State Police Command have visited the scene, it was gathered.

Carlson’s corpse has since been evacuated to the mortuary.

It was learnt that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed the case to be transferred to Homicide Section of State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti for discreet investigation.

A traditional Chief in Akwa-Ibom State, Chief Ekanem Edet has reportedly committed suicide, but left a suicide note addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, Vanguard News reported today.

According to Vanguard, the residents of Mbiabong Itam in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State woke up to a shocking sight of a 50-year-old man identified as Chief Ekanem Edet dangling on a suspended robe from the roof of his house. 

It was learned that Ekanem Edet, former Secretary of the Mbiabong Village Council, popularly called ‘Jolly Boy’, had been dead several hours earlier. 

Edets’s wife and two sons, it was learned, had gone out early in the morning unaware that his remains hung loosely from the roof of his room.

Heartless Mother Dumps Day-Old Baby In Carton At Jos Market; See Photo

An undoubtedly heartless mother has reportedly dumped a newborn baby in a bush at Jos, plateau State on Wednesday.

The innocent baby  which was discovered by some traders at the Bukuru cattle market raised the alarm in the morning when they woke up to the sight of the baby who was still covered in blood.

A 26-year-old mother-of-two couldn’t believe her eyes when snapped the shot, looked at her smartphone and saw the mystery bearded face staring back at her! The blurry silhouette resembling Jesus’ face can be seen in the middle of the image of the striking pink and purple skyline in between the two trees. 

Recalling the moment Becky said: “I was just taking a nice picture in my son’s bedroom of the sunset because I thought it looked really pretty. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the face looking back at me through the camera it was so cool. I immediately tried to zoom in and take another picture but it just didn’t look as good which is a shame. The first person that came into my mind was that it looked like Jesus.” 

She sent the picture to her mother who was also amazed by the resemblance and the pair both posted it on social media. Expectedly, it immediately went viral forcing people in different corners of the world guess who is that guy with kind face hiding in heaven. Although there were various theories about and comaprisons to popular actors and siners, Becky is convinced — Jesus revealed himself to her.
