Breaking: Fani-kayode confirms separation from his wife, slams N2b suit against blogger

Chief Femi Fani-kayode has confirmed the viral report of separation with his wife Precious Chikwendu, fresh report according to Punch Newspaper said.

According to Punch, the former Aviation Minister has, however, written a pre-litigation letter to popular blogger, Stella Dimokorkus, demanding N2bn from her for a report he termed libelous.

The blogger had in a report attributed the separation to domestic violence and alleged that the triplet sons may not have been fathered by Fani-Kayode as they were conceived through IVF and Chikwendu had demanded a DNA test.

In a letter signed by his lawyer, Mr. Adeola Adedipe, dated September 16, 2020, the former minister described the report as preposterous.

The letter titled, ‘Defamation of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode- Re: Femi Fani-Kayode and Precious Chikwendu Part Ways Over Alleged Domestic Violence’, stated that the allegations were spurious and maliciously engineered.

The former minister said he was disturbed about the manner in which the report was written which insults the sensibilities of unsuspecting readers.

He denied allegations that he retrieved the car he bought for his estranged wife and had left her broke.

Fani-Kayode said it was saddening that his innocent little children could be dragged into such a report, subjecting them to ridicule.

The letter further read, “Our client is aggrieved and has instructed us to draw your attention to these libelous breaches of his person and family. By this publication, our client has received denigrating phone calls and messages across the globe by virtue of which he now sufferers immeasurable loss of goodwill.

“However, he is inclined to draw a curtain over the wild and spurious claims if you retract the allegations on the same platform they were published and consequently apologise to him in two other national dailies.

Am not sure Fani-kayode is the father of my Children - wife allegedly opens up

Precious Chikwendu, the wife of Chief Femi Fani-kayode has allegedly claimed she doubts the paternity of the four children bore for the former Aviation Minister, her husband. 

Several online reports suggest that the former minister's marriage to his beautiful wife, Chikwendu has crashed. 

According to SDK, among other reports, the couple parted ways and bid bye to their matrimonial relationship due to unbearable domestic violence. 

The Report says Precious has moved out of his husband's house over amonths ago without her four sons as the minister had taken over the kids and put them under the care of a Nanny with strict instructions. 

It is said that the former minister retrieved all the gifts he bought for her whilst they were married leaving her broke as her accounts were also seized. 

Furthermore,  the report disclosed that Precious had allegedly been beaten up many times and lived like a prisoner in her matrimonial home. 

It was learned that Precious, who walked away from the matrimony because she could not endure further batching is now demanding for a DNA test of her four kids. 

Reports claimed she is said not be sure of the children are actually Fani-kayode's, as the kids were allegedly conceived via IVF. She is said not to be sure where the former minister brought the sperm he dropped for the hospital to use on her to conceive the triplets. 

But latest report according to Premium Times says, the paternity doubt and demostic violence about the crashed marriage are not true. The online paper said, an uncle to the estranged wife of the former minister actually confirmed their separation, but debunked domestic violence and doubtful paternity report. 

The couple who have now unfollowed each other and pictures of both deleted off their social media accounts, further fuel this speculation. 

Fani-Kayode has been married three times.

In a video shared online, both men are seen throwing punches at each other in public. A crowd gathered to watch the fight but the men made no move to stop, not even after they were threatened that their video will be shared on Facebook.

Dethroned Emir Sanusi's 4th wife births new baby

The dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi's fourth wife, identified as Saadatu has has reportedly born a new baby girl 

Sanusi's son, Ashraf who confirmed the birth of his step-sister on Instagram said the deposed Emir's second wife's plea made Sanusi name the baby girl after his first wife, who took care of Saadatu while she was pregnant.

Ashraf gave off the name of the baby girl as Halimatu Saadiyya, and further stated that the spirit of family and peace in their household makes him happy.

He wrote;

"Whenever people asked me about my mothers, I’d say I have 3 (now 4) because all of my father’s wives are my mothers. In that spirit I want to share something that warmed my heart with you. My first mum, Yaya (Giwa) has basically taken care of the 4th especially through this trying period.

My second mum, (Goggo) Mamie, seeing this pleaded with my father to name the new baby after her (Yaya). And masha Allah the new baby is named Halimatu Saadiyya (Rafeeqah). This is the spirit of family and peace that makes me happy.

JUST IN: Offa Bank Robbery Gang Leader, Adikwu Dies In Police Custody

Micheal Adikwu, the prime suspect and gang leader in the Offa bank robbery where at least 32 people were killed on April 5, 2018 is dead.  

Kwara State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kamaldeen Ajibade, SAN disclosed this at a Kwara State High Court today, when five of the six principal suspects were brought to court.  The five suspects arraigned were Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye, Adeola Abraham, Salaudeen Azeez and Niyi Ogundiran.  

However, Michael Adikwu, a dismissed police constable who was said to have confessed to being the mastermind of the bloody operation was not in court during the arraignment. When the case came up, Ajibade, who said that his office received the case file of the robbery operation on Monday evening explained that the head of Police investigation team, Abba Kyari informed him that one of the suspects, Michael Adikwu was dead.

Ajibade said the police was yet to give details of Adikwu’s death and that the five suspects brought to court could not be charged until an amendment was made on the charge sheet.  

According to him, we have the names of six suspects on our charge sheet, but they brought five suspects, we cannot go on with the case until we amend the charges because we can not prosecute a dead person. The Attorney General also said that the case could not go on because the suspects had no legal representation.  He, however, urged the court to adjourn the case so that the charges could be amended and the suspects could get legal team to represent them.  It would be recalled that two lawyers who were representing the suspects announced their withdrawal from the case last week.  

Justice Halima Salman adjourned the matter till November 30, 2018 and ordered that the suspects get a legal team.

The pastor in charge of the church, Prophet Memnen Ukum, before delivering the woman, revealed to her that the red powder she stole from her aunt in Lagos was responsible for the problem.

Prophet Memnen told her that for her problem to be solved, she must return it to the owner or to him (prophet) for destruction. The prophet’s revelation astonished the entire congregation, as the woman, who wanted to deny later confessed to stealing a powder from the said aunt of hers albeit ignorantly.

“When I returned home with the powder, my aunt followed me to my village to collect it but I denied and she had to go back, but unfortunately, she had an accident on her way and died, “she said.

A certain sheep has reportedly given birth to a human lamb on Thursday, social media posts and reports from South Africa suggest. The reports which have stirred lots of arguments and environmental concern.

A social media user stirred a confusion as he suggested that deformity might be as a result of rape. He asked, "Is this not a consistent rape by a man that caused this"?

He continued; "The rate at which human beings have sexual intercourse with different animals troubles me"

In a related development, the viral social media (Facebook) photos have been confirmed to be real by the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform,(ECDRDAR), in South Africa.

According to the department’s Chief Director of Veterinary Services, Dr Lubabalo Mrwebi, “We call on the local community not to panic over this deformed lamb.

We can confirm that this deformed lamb is not a progeny of sheep ovum and a human sperm. “Virus infections in early stages of pregnancy may infect the foetus and lead to the development of malformations in the growing foetus. It is likely that this is what happened to the Lady Frere sheep‚” “The gestation period for a sheep is five months.
