Bellow Is the DISCLAIMER by the ex-militant s leader

PUBLIC DISCLAIMER!!!
The public should note that I, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo-Asari,Alabo Edi Abali -Abala Buruburu 1 of Kalabari had not entered, directed, appointed or delegated any person or group of persons to negotiate or enter into dialogue with any president, vice president, governor, minister, national security adviser, any committee or institution in furtherance of the nigerian states pretension to the pursuance of peace in the occupied Ijaw,Niger Delta Region and The United States of Biafra(USB).

Therefore, anybody who had presented himself/herself claiming to me or represent me in any manner of discussion, fora or conference in furtherance of this pretentious negotiation or dialogue is a fraud and therefore should not be accorded any recognition,as a person representing me,the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front and Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force.

I am convinced and firmly believe that the occupation gambari and their collaborators in the nigerian state led by general Muhammadu Buhari is not interested in any or in any type of peace in Ijaw, the Niger Delta Region,In the Territories of the United States of Biafra or even in any part of nigeria. The body language of general Muhammadu Buhari is to carry out a genocide and a pogrom against the Ijaw,Niger Delta and the United States of Biafra(USB).

Therefore, there is no way I will be hoodwinked to be part of any sham that the government of the nigerian state led general Muhammadu Buhari is masquerading as negotiation or dialogue that will lead to peace in the aforesaid territories....The same way the bride Amnesty was introduced-which I and the volunteers rejected-was used to bribe the faint hearted amongst our compatriots, the cult gangs and fraternities, and the criminal elements in the Niger Delta to allow the our hydro carbon resources-which is our God given and exclusively belong to us- to be freely extracted to satisfy the extravagant and immoral appetite of the gambari and their collaborators...Today most of the recipients of the Amnesty Bribe are full of regrets and wish that they turn back the hands of clock.

In furtherance to the above stated reasons,I have no cause to be part of any negotiation or dialogue in the present general Muhammadu Buhari contrived crisis in the Ijaw territories to give him an excuse to carry out his well thought out plan to execute his genocide and pogrom against us....since I am not a member of the Niger Delta Avengers or any of the other internet groups trying to obliterate the shine of the heroic explores of the Niger Delta Avengers....Some people had severally opined that if I am not an Avenger I should publicly disclaim them...Why should I do so?What is my business to be a busybody in this matter? Why should I take pannadol for someone else headache?I will never disclaim, denounce or condemn the Niger Delta Avenger....For I am a known advocate of this truism that for every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction....You can't sow to the winds and expect not to harvest a whirlwind in return.

Finally, the public should know that I am not part of any negotiation or dialogue and had not mandated, nominated, appointed or authorized any person or group of persons to represent me in any dialogue or negotiation with the government of the nigerian state led by general Muhammadu Buhari. My believe is that only a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE with the resolution for a PLEBISCITE SUPERVISED BY THE UNITED NATION can lead to permanent peace in Ijaw,Niger Delta and the Biafran territories.

Thank you
Alhaji Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo-Asari

Long live the Ijaw nation
Long live the United States of Biafra(USB)

THE UNTOLD: Why Buhari Actually Sacked Kachikwu As NNPS GMD

Dr. Ibe Kachikwu,
New Telegraph - Fresh facts have emerged as to the underlying reasons the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, was removed as the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC), after serving in that capacity for a period of 11 months. Before his appointment as GMD of NNPC last August, he was the Executive Vice Chairman and General Counsel for Exxon Mobil (Africa).

Armed with private sector experience, Kachikwu, on assumption of office, introduced some swift reforms geared towards the restructuring of the NNPC, the resuscitation of the refineries, and deregulation of the downstream sector of the petroleum industry.

He also sought to introduce transparency and accountability in the huge oil corporation in such a way that each subsidiary would be required to render profit and loss accounts at the end of each fiscal year.

There have been speculations that Kachikwu came under attacks from various quarters and interest groups who felt threatened by these reforms. Sunday Telegraph learnt that Kachikwu had to give way because, apart from the abnormality in one person holding the two strategic positions, he was too fast and reform-minded for the NNPC and ruffled not a few feathers while he held sway as the NNPC boss.

An oil industry source told Sunday Telegraph that the first factor that led to his exit was that it was not legal for one person to be the Minister of Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director of NNPC, at the same time.

“It was an anomaly and supposed to be a temporary arrangement. It was not supposed have lasted that long. In addition, he brought private sector initiatives into a largely conservative and bureaucratic system. Normally, reforms will be resisted by those used to the old system.

But one of the things he didn’t do well was not carrying the people along. “There was a lot of disenchantment in the system because of the sweeping reforms Kachikwu tried to introduce.

The ‘indigenous NNPC staff’ said they were not carried along. He brought in a lot of strange people, a lot of new ideas and these were coming a bit too fast. Civil servants are usually conservative people, so when they do not understand what you are doing or where you are going, they will ask all sorts of questions. What is this man doing? You want to destroy the system? You want to destroy our NNPC?

How can he make this man a General Manager when he just finished school 10 years ago? All those things are bound to be there.

“He ought to have been a bit gradual in introducing those reforms, but he was working on timelines that were too fast for the system. He was in a hurry because he knew that he was not supposed to occupy those two positions for a long time,” our source said.

Although Kachikwu remains the boss of the oil industry, there are indications that his current position as Minister of State may not give him the full powers to drive the series of reforms he introduced into the system. His successor, the newly appointed Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Dr. Maikanti Kacalla Baru, has assumed office and pledged to carry on with the reforms of his predecessor.

Baru has, however, unfolded a 12-point agenda for the corporation but said he will run an all inclusive system for better results. According to Baru, his administration will set up an all-inclusive internal advisory council on security comprising representatives from NNPC, the international oil corporations(IOCs), the Unions and Security Operatives to brainstorm and address host community agitations to complement efforts of the Government Security Team.

The new helmsman also pledged to implement the new business models and grant the needed autonomy to the strategic business units; provide relevant directions and control that will ensure their growth and profitability, continue to explore ways of relieving government from the burden of cash calls obligation, defray the agreed cash call arrears of the IOCs, restore oil and gas production and grow the reserve portfolio.

Meanwhile, some lawyers, yesterday, kicked against the various appointments made so far by President Muhammadu Buhari into boards and parastatals, stating that such is against the provisions of federal character.

The President had, last week, appointed members into the board of NNPC, with his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, making the list. Speaking with Sunday Telegraph, an Abuja based lawyer, Wahab Olatoye, noted that the appointments of Buhari since he was sworn in, has been lopsided, as only his allies from the North are always being considered for appointments. “Like people have been saying all along, appointment under Buhari’s administration has been tailored towards CPC members who are in APC and the CPC members are the ones from the North alone and it does not cut across nationwide.

“The lopsidedness is against the Federal Character law and it is not cognizance of that.

The Chief of staff is not a constitutional appointment, he is private secretary to the president, and he has so many things to do for the President as the private secretary. Making him a board member of NNPC shows that the President has not really open doors for outsiders to come closer to him to move the nation forward. “The government is a year old, the people he has appointed so far have really not been able to turn things around. Although the appointment of the Chief of Staff to the board has no constitutional inhibition,” he added.

Another lawyer and law lecturer, Dr. Abass Ambali, noted that there is set rules and regulations guiding the appointment of individuals into offices as far the country is concerned. “If one should look at the appointments in recent time, one can really say that the set rules have not been followed, but, however, one cannot completely blame the President because his prerogative cannot be denied.

“For the appointment of his Chief of Staff to the board, there is no constitutional provision that stopped him from doing so. The appointment of the Chief of Staff is on personal recommendation and not based on any rule,” he added. Another lawyer, Dr. Thompson Emanoibe, said the recent appointment into the NNPC board is a violation of the NNPC Act 2014.

Emanoibe noted that “the NNPC Act 2004, specifies that three of the members are to be appointed by the National Council of Ministers, who by reason of their ability, experience or specialised knowledge of the oil industry or of business or professional attainments, are capable of making useful contributions to the work of the Corporation”

Most Nigerians No Longer Fancy You, APC Chairman, Oyegun 'Knocks Buhari' In Admittance

All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and Buhari
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has admitted that President Muhammadu Buhari is no longer popular like he was during the 2015 general election.

“All governments worldwide in between terms lose some degree of popularity; no question about that,” he told Punch.

“We are having harsh economic times, no question about that and that does not increase the popularity of any government. It only diminishes it to some extent. What is different is that, in our case, in spite of the harsh economic realities, the people still have full confidence, trust.

“I think that is the proper word, in President Buhari, that he will do his very best to improve their lot and I think the proof of that was the reaction to the threatened strikes by the labour unions. You can see that even though people are unhappy, they refused to come out because they understood.

“They are in pain but they understood why the pain was there and they trusted the President that he was doing everything within his power to ameliorate their pain. So yes, there is a lot of grumbling all over the place, but also there is a lot of trust in Mr. President”, he added.

On internal crisis in some states, including Kano, Bayelsa and Kogi, Oyegun said APC was attending to each of them.

“In every case, we are making progress. Bayelsa should be concluded in a matter of weeks. Kano is basically a personality thing and we’ve got everybody to sheathe their swords for now.

“And I think that has happened. Kano has cooled off. We also have issues in Kogi State which we are also attending to. That is the only way you know a government that is in power.

“If we were in opposition, there won’t be skirmishes in these states because there would be nothing to skirmish over but since we are in power, people are still struggling for relative importance within the system with an eye on tomorrow.

“These things are normal, they are expected but we’ve developed that habit of democratic consultation and reconciliation and it is working”, he added.

Buhari Is Nigeria's Obama - Entwistle, US Ambassador Likens, Thumps Up PMB's Economic Recovery Efforts

The United State of America outgoing Ambassador, Mr. James Entwistle has likened Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari to the United States' President Barack Obama, urging Nigerians to support his economic recovery efforts

The outgoing US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle, has called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic recovery efforts.

Entwistle in a chat with newsmen in Abuja on Friday, also said he saw “parallel between President Buhari and President Obama.

He said: “President Obama had not been in office for very long, but the people had same kind of impatience.

“And I think in my country a lot of people forgot how difficult the situation was, that President Obama inherited. I think the same thing is happening with President Buhari to a certain degree.

“It is completely understandable to me that people have a high expectation, they are impatient, they want to see change.

“But Mr President inherited a very difficult set of circumstances and some of the things that he has identified that need to be done; end corruption; reform the petroleum sector and end the conflict in the North-East.

“These are things that even if he works as hard as he can, it will take some time. I understand people are impatient; the expectations from Mr President are very high.

“I think we have to remember what he inherited. And in my own opinion, we have to be neutral and balanced. I think Mr President and his team have done a good job this first year.’’

He observed that Buhari was doing his best on the economy, adding that, “though I am not an economist, but what he has done with the exchange rate and fuel subsidy and so on, will improve the economy.

“But remember that in this age, no country is an economic island. What affects a country affects the economy of every other country. I gave the President very good marks and let’s see how he marches forward in the next few months.”

Ohaneze, Afinifere Attack Buhari, Say Nigeria's Unity Not By Force

Following President Muhammadu Buhari reaffirmation on Sallah that the unity of Nigeria in not negotiable, the Igbo socio-cultural organisation, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and the pan-Yoruba socio-political body, Afenifere, have faulted the position of the President on his position, stating Nigeria's oneness is not by force.

Buhari had said these when Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, led residents of the FCT to pay the President Sallah homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja

The organisations, on Wednesday, told Buhari that the unity of the country was negotiable.

Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka had, on Tuesday last week, described the oneness of Nigeria as “very negotiable”.

The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, believed Buhari might not be reading the mood of the nation correctly.

Odumakin in an interview according to Punch Newspaper said, “I think the President is a sincere man but he may not be reading the mood correctly. The country is divided under him than before. Amalgamation and armed dialogue are going on all around us over the unity of Nigeria which many sections perceive has treated them unfairly.

“To continue to insist that the unity is not negotiable is aping that bird which buries its head in the sand and believes, because it is seeing nobody, it has become invisible too.”

Similarly, the Ohaneze, the President of the Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, aligned with Afenifere’s position, saying the unity of Nigeria was negotiable, saying the current structure of Nigeria had not favoured all parts of the country, Punch Newspaper says

According to him, Nigeria’s unity should be subjected to periodic review.

The OYC leader noted that the Igbo, as a group, canvassed the restructuring of the country during the last constitutional conference.

Isiguzoro said, “We (Ohanaeze Ndigbo) believe that Nigeria’s unity is negotiable. The principles and structures on the co-existence of the various nationalities that make up the country should be reviewed periodically.

“At the moment, the structure that is in place is not in favour of everybody.

“Those that it is favouring are the ones who want the status quo to be maintained, but those it has not favoured, like the Igbo, are open to a negotiation of the country’s unity.”

He added, “The Igbo demanded restructuring at the last constitutional conference and we are still holding on to that demand. We believe Nigeria’s unity should be subject to periodic review.

“We are not calling for secession, but a periodic review of the terms of the country’s unity is necessary for peaceful coexistence, otherwise agitations for separation would continue to grow.”

FORGERY Scandal: Irate Senators Walk Out Attorney General of the Federation, Minister of Justice

Irate Senators,  this afternoon during a hearing on the Senate Rules forgery case  walked out  Chief Okoi Obono-Obla, the Special Adviser To President Muhammadu Buhari on Prosecution at Ministry of Justice who came to represent the Minister of Justice and the Attorney general of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

The Senate had penultimate Tuesday summoned Malami over the forgery suit following a motion sponsored by Senator Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi West).

Obono-Obla, who is attached to the Ministry of Justice, represented Malami, but the Chairmaokoin of senate committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator David Umaru, asked him to leave, saying, "we invited the AGF not you, so please excuse."

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, outgoing Clerk to the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa and the Deputy Clerk, Ben Efeturi, are being tried at  the FCT High Court.

BREAKING: Litigant Lawyer Withdraws Certificate Suit Against Buhari; You'll Be Shocked Why

Mr. Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe
Mr. Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, a legal practitioner and the litigant who is in court seeking President Muhammadu Buhari's disqualification over non-certificates has withdrawn the suit abruptly, News Punch has learnt reliably

He filed a notice of withdrawal at the Federal High Court in Abuja to discontinue the suit he instituted against President Muhammadu Buhari for lack of certificate ThisDay Newspaper reports.

Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe had alleged that Buhari was not qualified to aspire for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria because he did not sit for the Cambridge West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1961 as he claimed.

The notice of discontinuance dated June 27 and obtained by ThisDay Newspaper, read:

“Take note that the plaintiff in this originating summons, Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe, hereby discontinues this action.”

Our checks revealed that following the withdrawal of the suit from court, the trial judge, Justice Ademola Adeniyi will today sit and accordingly strike out the case.

Though Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe did not give any reason for withdrawing the case from court, but This Day Newspaper gathered that it might not be unconnected with alleged threats to his life and members of his family.

In an interview with our reporter last month, Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe had alleged that there were some subtle threats on him to withdraw the case from court.

He had said: Of course, I am concerned and my family and friends are too; I am not naïve and some subtle threats have already been made. For now it is small comfort that if anything happens to me, even if disguised as an accident or anything, Nigerians will know exactly who is responsible.

“In any case, it was Professor Wole Soyinka, I think, who once said in one of his books that ‘The Man Dies in Him Who Keeps Quiet in The Face of Tyranny’ or something of the sort. Speaking of which, I am amazed at the conspiracy of silence by Nigerians. It is astounding is it not, that in the light of this very apparent rape of our constitution, laws, indeed the very essence of our democracy, all of our civil society advocates and activists have gone deaf and dumb in the face of tyranny.

“All those voluble persons (and I don’t want to name them; they know themselves and Nigerians know them too), who pretend they are activists or keepers of the moral conscience of the nation astonishingly can’t see or appreciate what is happening. This country really misses Chief Gani Fawehinmi; he was the only fearless, credible, true and genuine conscience of the nation, not the pretenders we have today; all the others only make noise when it suits them and their interests but look the other way once they are compromised. None of us today, can tie Gani’s shoe-laces.”
